I needed a longer DVI cable to reach my computer for my Cintiq due to the configuration of my office setup. This was exactly what I needed. The quality appears to be excellent and it's definitely doing the job I needed it to with no problems. The product arrived quickly and was well packaged. Now I just need the same thing for a USB connection. Not having the Cintiq sitting alongside the other two monitors already occupying space on my desk makes my office a lot more open. Now I actually have some space to work. Previously I was using about three inches of the edge of my desk to write notes, hold papers, etc. Now I have some actual desk real estate left over. Great product that met my needs.

Works well - does the job - no problems. I would have preferred one with thumb screws on both ends but that is not a deal breaker. Be sure to put the thumb screw end on your monitor since gravity tends to pull apart the connection. Most monitors are designed so that the cable will be oriented up and down. Use the non-thumb screw side on your computer where likely it will be oriented horizontally thus less likely to come apart with light jostling when you touch or adjust the monitor. Otherwise, it is fine.

Didn't work for what I bought it for!!! I'm hoping it's a lemon but who knows. I've bought plenty of cables from StarTech before and have always been pleased. But for whatever reason I tried extending the cable monitor for my cintiq and it didn't work....boooooo.

With this cable, I am able to have my monitor away from the computer and not worry about stretching the cable that came with the monitor. Highly recommend having a cable this length for use in any setup. Do yourself a favor and get one and avoid connection hassles.

I have no video at all. Connecting from my Mac Pro mini display to DVI adapter (currently working with my 23" ADC). I have also tried the native DVI output to my 30" Apple Cinema Display and no luck. Maybe a bad cable.

I wanted a cable to extend the distance of my 30" Apple Cinema Display from my computer. The display works fine at recommended resolution plugged directly into my video card. I bought a single link DVI cable, which doesn't support the full resolution on my monitor. With this dual link cable, I get the appropriate resolution, but I see a bunch of red pixels shimmering on darker areas of my screen. I was encouraged because other reviews said this cable worked with a 30" ACD, but I'm finding the one I got to not work well enough.

I got this to extend a short DVI to HDMI cable that worked perfectly from my computer to tv. The HDMI out on my video card was unreliable causing screen to flash. But DVI out worked fine even get stronger sound levels. This cable is wonderful.
