It's double layered and pretty warm. I bought it for mainly bicycle riding in cold weather. I was hoping it could be used under my helmet but it's too thick to be used for that purpose. I can still use it without the helmet just fine.
The amount of stretch(about 10%) may not be enough to be called "One size fits all". Fortunately I have about the average size(size7), so it was nearly perfect. If you have very big or very small head, you may want to avoid buying it online.

I'm very glad to have something on my head while I am running that will let me cover my ears without overheating as I get warmer during my run. The parts for the ears don't totally match up on my head so I wish that they were a little larger to avoid issues but generally it fits snugly without being too tight and is soft.

pretty warm and soft. Ear flaps work well. Material is a soft fleece. Keeps your whole head warmer. I work outside all winter , and this is good enough to keep warm most of the time. Could use some spandex inside(not the tightest fit, and sometimes rides up when you move around.)

These are pretty warm and definitely comfortable, but they are not very "stretchy"... I was hoping that it would fit my 4 year old son, and it "kinda does" but is not a tight fit over his ears, though he still says it's "comfy". It's better on me however.

For $5 it's a bargain. It's soft and fits well. The ear flaps are kind of weird and don't fit snugly. Also, the ear flaps look weird. I have a 20$ headband from Land's End that I love much more than this. But, pretty good for 5$.
