These labels printed OK on my inkjet printer but they are NOT clear as the package label claims. They are more like vellum - a somewhat translucent white. For me, a waste of $10.

These saved the day last minute - somewhat - when I wanted to put graphics on a clear bag I was making to visualize something....but WARNING: Unprinted area will not "disappear", as it is not truly CLEAR in the background when applied on something that is clear. It shows up frosted white. This did not look good for my needs, but probably disappears on a solid background (vs my truly clear application). I was very disappointed, but had no time to figure out another solution.

I've had these same "see-through" labels in the past a few times and they did the job, although they are not a 100% see-through. They have a very soft filmy look to them but they are still a good transparency. I personally think these are going to be your best choice for a home ink-jet printer making stickers. The next best thing, which would be something more of a grade of lamination, is an actual sticker-making machine. They are very inexpensive (usually $30 or less) and make great completely clear adhesive labels/stickers. It always depends on what you're looking for in a final product. I like these because I can cut a clean thin edge and it leaves a smooth surface. The stickers on the sticker-making machine are slightly thicker harder edges because of the plastic it uses. This is all ok, but it simply depends on what you're wanting your projects to look and feel like or what you need or don't need. Hope this helps!

Avery 18665 8.5"x11" adhesive ink jet sheets are not clear. They are milky, more like frosted glass that allows colors through but would not be clear like a window. The product is good quality for printing and sticks well to smooth, clean surfaces but is definitely mislabeled as "CLEAR".

Im giving this one star. Very disappointed from avery. This is not clear at all. Doesnt work well for small cylindrical projects lip balms. I would not buy this again for ANY project. I hope avery makes a better clear label.

Bought a package of clear label paper to make labels for canisters that sit out on my kitchen counters. These printed fine but I was disappointed by the finish product. These are not a true "clear" but more of a frosted clear. When pressed into a clear, glass jar, you can see exactly where the sticker is. I probably won't keep the stickers on the canisters because it just looks sloppy.

For a Brand Name product I expected HI quality. Perhaps I miss read the description. It says CLEAR. Well you can see through it, but it looks like frosty Scotch tape. I'm pissed. CLEAR should mean CLEAR. CRYSTAL. I recommend trying a cheaper brand. Perhaps one that says Glossy Clear, if you don't want to see a FUZZY background.

Just a word of caution, these are not "clear"; they're more like vellum, sort of opaque rather than completely transparent. They suited my purposes perfectly, thus the five star rating. but if the expectation is for crystal clearness, like a laminate, this is not it.
