Brentwood's "Poodle" bedrest is really small, and more appropriate for a small child around 6 years of age. It's too small for my average sized 8 year old. It is very snuggy and soft.

We also purchased the Shagalicious bedrest by Brentwood. Both Poodle & Shag. products have same measurements: 26x18x18, yet Poodle product is MUCH smaller and I paid $7 more for it!

I think the Shagalicious is a perfect sized bedrest, I'd recommend that one for an older child or adult.

I absolutely love this bedrest pillow- I can't get through the day without it right now! I just had a c-section just a little over a week ago, and this pillow makes not only sitting comfortably in bed so much easier, but is a godsend with nursing! It provides great back support and is firm enough that I don't "sink in". I highly recommend any new mom or anyone that will be having a c-section to buy one of these! It makes the first few weeks so much easier!

THIS IS NOT MADE FOR ADULTS!!!! Nor will it support an adult. Plus the height sucks!!!!! It comes to mid back & that's being generous!! YOU CANNOT CRADLE IN THIS to read or watch television. I tried to make it work. I piled pillows behind & in front to get more support, but I had to return it!!!! It would be wonderful for a child or preteen!! It supports my 10yrs like a glove!!! The turquoise color is beautiful. But, not really sure why this is advertised as an adult sized pillow when clearly, it is NOT!! If you are looking for one of those bedrest that your mother and grandmother used to have, DO NOT BUY THIS!!

It is too small good maybe for a toddler, very shallow small arms and in total though it looks lovely it is not useful. I am bedridden most of the time and cannot even get out to return it or wrap it so I guess I am stuck with it.

I think it will last quite awhile. It's heavy and sturdy, so it seems that it will not flatten too soon. I remember when they were popular and how they tended to "deflate." I love the fact that it's lilac. My daughter's favorite color is purple and I didn't want it to be a gaudy purple. She just got it for Christmas and so far, I would recommend it.
