Thick It is a great help to people who suffer from Dysphagia. Because of their difficulty swallowing thin liquids than can choke, get pneumonia or worse. Fortunately, Thick It adds no taste, but can be used with water, milk, juice or any liquid to give it a slurry or pudding texture (depending on how much you need to use), that then allows them to take liquids without risk of getting into their lungs.

This is a great product that helps people who have tremendous difficulty taking in thin liquids and is a real life saver.

I buy these by the case and they are about ten dollars cheaper per tub than if you bought one at the local pharmacy or medical supply store so it's worth it. My son has trouble swallowing so we use this daily as much as I don't like to have to it's the only way he can water or other liquids.

If you must use this stuff due to swallowing problems it is a good product for thickening liquids and less expensive than the in-store brands that I have used when you order it in bulk. I got 6 - 36 oz. cans for about $90. I am ordering more today.

I don't know if it's the Thick-It or me, but during the swallow tests, i never aspirate honey consistencies. With Thick-It, I seem to cough it up for a while afterwards. I am willing to give Thick-It the benefit of the doubt on this one, though.
