I bought this tool for one purpose only. I intended it to be a throw away tool. I needed it to trim the fender wells out on my 4x4 because the tires were barely catching the edge. I hooked up the tool and tried to use it and it never worked. when I pulled the lever all that happened is it vented air, the saw blade did not move at all. I will never buy another one of these again.

I've had two of these. Bought one, it didn't work so I exchanged it for another and that one didn't work either. After looking online at reviews and tool forums, this particular tool carries a horrible reputation. I have a few HF tools and can appreciate value, but look elsewhere to save a few bucks. This tool is useless. It would only cut for a quarter inch at the most and then the blade would stop and it would vent air, or else you'd pull the trigger and nothing happens but venting air. I have plenty of air and many air tools so I know what I'm doing. This is just a bad tool.

Mine didnt work I didn't send it back as I didnt use it till like 2 months after I ordered it. Only reason I gave it 3 stars was because It was my fault for not checking it before as im sure amazon would have replaced. Good thing I found one at harbore frights.
