Trust me--these are the ones you want; these are the ones you will return to buy again.

About 30 years ago, I happened upon 4 large, bulky twisted steel wool pads in the basement of my parents' house. I'm certain--I can picture the vintage graphics on the cardboard carton--they were made in the 1950s. These 4 pads--initially used little, then used more as I found them helpful for cleaning tools, and then used daily (and harshly) since converting to cast iron cookware--lasted until last year. Since, I spent a fair amount of time (and a fair amount of money) trying to locate replacements for those vintage cleaning pads.

These are them! These are jumbo pads--each larger than my closed fist; each weigh 100g; each I anticipate will be durable. (Other manufacturers market small pads,17g-20g each, pads I can easily fit them inside my closed fist; pads which do not last.)

I think, after this purchase, I am now set for life. If not, I know that they are available and where they are available.

I ordered this thinking it was a pack of 12. When the package arrived, there was a single scrubber inside. One scrubber for sixteen bucks! I immediately requested a refund. Amazon refunded my money and said not to send it back.

On the plus side, it was a nice, big scrubber and works well. It just wasn't worth sixteen bucks.

These are huge, industrial duty scrubbers in a pack of 10 or 12. They are ready to scrape the crud off any dishes or pots and pans you have that can withstand their rough and tough nature. Don't even think about it if you have Teflon-coated pans or plastic dishes. It will shred them.

These would get 5 stars, but they are just huge. I actually ended up ripping the last one in half and that's about right. They are good quality though, I've tried a lot of these and many are not that great. These last a long time.

You get 12 very large and spongy Stainless Steel Pot Scrubbers for a little over a $1 apiece! The shear size of this Scrubber and the open coil design really makes it efficient in removing tough residue because you can apply a lot of "elbow grease" to the task. Because it is so open, the residue is easily washed out , and of course it will not rust. Aside from kitchen tasks, the Scrubber is very good for other tasks such as removing caked on grass from underneath the lawnmower or stripping coatings from metal or wood.
