This filter kit contains 3 filters:

FILTER UV: Removes or absorbs ultra violet rays, giving sharper contrast to your film or video. Protects your lens from scratches and fingerprints.
FILTER CPL: Increases color saturation, darker blue skies so white clouds stand out, and eliminate reflections from nonmetallic surface like glass or water.
FILTER FDL: Allows for using your camera under fluorescent lighting giving you natural light colors when shooting under florescent conditions.

Lens filters are translucent pieces of glass placed in front of a camera lens to alter or adjust the light entering the camera, and more importantly to protect the camera lens.
