I was using this to light up my front yard for halloween. I have white nylon spider webs and Cotton webbing throughout the yard. Barely even lights up my address plate on my house. I know the paint on the bulbs block some light, but gosh! If i had to compare to a normal bulb, looks more like a 20w bulb. Might be good for indoor dark parties. Not good for outdoor use.

These bulbs are dim, even after I had given them time to warm up in hopes they would get brighter. Also, after using them for no longer than five minutes one of them dies and gets stuck in the light fixture.

Quite disappointed in these bulbs. They really are not that bright and get very hot limiting where they can be used. Purchased to decorate for Halloween but would melt anything close to them. The light wasn't too bright either so the full affect of a black light was not accomplished.

I bought this for my daughters sweet 16 party with the intent of using it by my front door entry, so when her friends came in wearing their whites and glowing clothes they would look cool... instead I got a bulb that got extremely hot in less than a minute and even with ALL the lights off everywhere else it had no effect on any brights whatsoever, even up close to the bulb. Just a fire hazard at best!
