These seem like great boots, but the sizing conversion from Men's to Women's is NOT correct so the boots were way too large. What you will receive is the Men's size, so adjust your size accordingly... there should be a 2 size difference between men's and women's.

I have a size 9+ (pushing to 9 1/2) foot and ordered the "Mens 8/ Womens 9" and my feet were swimming in them.

Do yourself a favor and read all other reviews on any Mares booties. They run big. I wear a size 11 shoe and even that is a bit snug but I like a snug fit. So I ordered an 11 booty despite reading all the reviews that they run big because the last thing I wanted was a booty that was too tight. It was too big. A lot too big. I sent it back and got a 10 instead. Surprisingly, even those are a bit big but a 9 would be too small and they don't make half sizes. The booties themselves are a great booty for the price. Also, kudos to amazon for a quick and painless return process.

These are a reasonably good value, but they do seem big, especially when wet. I tried them on dry before my trip and they were ok, but got a little floppy when wet. The next size down would have been better. I did not have any problems with them coming off, just feeling loose.

Simply put, buy at least 1 size smaller. I ordered an 11, my usual shoe size, and what arrived was meant for scuba diving clowns. We compared them to some shoes. The result: My size 11 boots were identical to some size 13 shoes. The return process was a breeze, Amazon is great about that. I ordered size 10 which is an ok fit.

You can't really complain for the price. Buying some hard-bottomed, high top, 5mm boots would cost 3x as much in a dive shop. The mismatched sizes are a short inconvenience.

Bought these to replace boots that wore out after only a handful of dives. These are holding up much better, and feel like they will last a long time.

They provide good warmth, and the grip while walking is excellent.

Wow, these kept me warm in 50°F water for well over 2 hours. If you are into diving then at this price these are a real bargain. Just make sure that they will fit your fins, before they are a bit larger than the standard boot due to the thickness of the material. Other than that I would recommend these to anyone that loves to dive as soon as the Ice clears!

This is very easy to put on and take off. I like that the sole is not too thick. The rubbers around the sole protects from protruding rocks from hurting me when I dive. I also like that the sole is not flat.

I don't like these boots as they fill with water to the brim which is uncomfortable after diving. You literally have to 'empty' these.
Before and during diving they are good. A bit too much stretch for my needs.
They fit true to size; in my case women's US11.
