I bought this because it was recommended by Amazon for the bulb I purchased. Of course, it wouldn't fit the sconce. No problems returning it, unless you think $10 to return a $20 part makes no sense.

I threw it and the bulb away, and replaced the sconce with one that took a normal bulb.

What is there to like about fluorescent lamp ballasts other than having one that works? It fit perfectly and was a direct replacement. Now the question is how long it'll last.
