The Aqua Tech SoftCap is a light and practical alternative to the leather 'snoot' style caps that are delivered with Canon and Nikon's big telephoto lenses today. Constructed from a pliant silicon material, the SoftCap makes a snug fit right at the end of the lens barrel and is very unlikely to come off by accident. You'll save a bit of weight and mass; and with a big lens to carry, every bit of savings counts--on a long journey, even a straw weighs a ton. This SoftCap fits both the older non-stabilized versions of the current lenses as well as the current models and can also be combined with Aqua Tech's SoftHood collapsible fabric hoods.
