I purchased this holster because i was looking for a quick and efficient way to holster and "de-holster" my flashlight. Not only does this product work but it has surpassed any of my expectations! I am currently using an INOVA Nite Ize T3 flashlight in this holster and it works and fits like a glove. I was skeptical at first because i was buying a holster for a different flashlight. But, let it be known that this product is police tested and police approved.

I can use this holster with out even looking at what i am doing. To me this is imperative to officer safety, especially when i am trying to maintain a visual on a suspect or a person of interest. Another reason why i love this holster is that i can rotate the light in any direction i see fit and use it as a stationary light. This application is perfect for any situation. Some examples of this; perhaps i am directing traffic when its dark and raining out and i want people to see me i can set it at an off set angle so that people will see a beam of light and see where i am standing. Another application is if i am on a foot pursuit (its dusk, so visibility is hindered), i can keep the light on and holster it and now if other officers come on scene they will be able to know who is a friendly and who is not. I can have light and keep my hands free, if the moment calls for it. This product is great!!!!

Nothing clunky here...This is one heck of a tactical light holder! Before I found this, I was resigned to using either an inferior surefire holder or a completely out dated traditional nylon or leather holster; which are neither practical nor tactical in today's environment. There are numerous tactical light options out there, but very few holder/holster options, so bravo to brite strike!...I am impressed.

I must note...I'm NOT using this with a brite strike light, but it works flawlessly with other tactical lights with similar dimensions and so far appears to be made very well and should hold up to everyday police patrol abuse. It took a minute to get it adjusted to my 2.25" belt (Bianchi nylon), but once adjusted, you don't have to mess with it anymore.

It does and functions exactly as advertised. I am currently using an Eagletac G25C2 MKII. The bezel is too large to fit into the bezel end of the holder, but works great in a bezel up position. I also use a surefire p2x fury defender and it also works great in a bezel up position as well. It holds both lights securely and has a flip up/down locking mechanism that holds both lights in place even more securely and the rotating feature is amazing. You can easily, without looking lock and unlock the light during your activities and leave it unlocked, say, during a stop when you are likely accessing it multiple times during the encounter. The light is still very secure even without the lock engaged. It will obviously work even better with an actual brite strike light, which now, I'm so impressed with their holder, that I am now considering one of their lights as well. Great job brite strike!

As advertised and works great! It is a bit bulky at first view, but works like a champ. Can be used on a variety of duty belt widths. Locks securely in place and a flashlight can be rotated holster while on your belt for Handsfree use. Recommended it to a law enforcement friend who purchased one and used that technique while on a foot chase. He was impressed. Did not detach or break during the arrest sequence which was unfortunately action filled.

The holster does not lay close to you body as most are used to, but works well for maintaining a vertical line when wearing duty belts and gear.

I carry a SureFire P2X Fury on my duty belt and had been using the SureFire-branded tailcap-down holster for it. I decided I wanted to try a flashlight ring (specifically the Thyrm Switchback) so I needed to find a bezel-down holster to accommodate it. I did a bit of research and wasn't really thrilled by the options but did see that people were having success with the Brite Strike BTL, so I decided to give it a shot.

I can say this: the holster works. It seems to be well built to me and doesn't come across as flimsy. The retention on the flashlight is very good whether the locking switch is on or off and I have had no issues getting my light in or out with my support hand, which is where I wear it on my belt. I have smacked it around onto door frames and it takes some shots climbing in and out of my vehicle and has held up well. Most importantly it accommodates my flashlight ring.

There are a few downsides. Honestly the rotation feature bothers me, I wish there was a way to lock it in place. It's also kind of bulky compared to some of the other options I've seen. Then, of course, there is the inherent downside of having the tailcap pointing up... it does accidentally activate sometimes.

None of the drawbacks are serious issues for me in any way and I am very pleased with this holster. It's worth consideration if you need or prefer tailcap up.

Bought two of these for use with a competitors flashlights after reading that some Fenix models fit this carrier. My Fenix PD35 and TK16 both fit. The TK16 is a perfect fit, and the PD35 fits snuggly if you place the metal clip towards the back of the flashlight holster.
