3.0 out of 5 stars Still an interesting magazine February 3, 2014
Subscription Term Name:1 year auto-renewal
Somewhere in the middle of the last year or so, Climbing changed it's focus. Before it had been a more general interst magazine about the mountains, offering a variety of articles ranging from trips that one might take to exciting adventurous experiences to practical advice about mountaineering. This suited those of us who spent more time dreaming about climbing while working in our little cubicle prisons than we did doing any actual climbing. The magazine has become much more for those with a lifestyle that focuses on climbing as their central means of existence; and while admirable from a certain point of view, the attraction for the general interest reader is not there as much.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great magazine for those who love climbing! November 30, 2009
Subscription Term Name:1 year
This is a great magazine for anyone who loves climbing. Fantastic photography of climbs throughout the US and the world with good articles. I prefer Rock & Ice Magazine, but this is a close second.

Got this magazine for my husband as a gift and he loves it. He has learned new tricks with it and has found new places to climb from it. It's nice that it auto renews until we tell it to stop. Very convenient :D

2.0 out of 5 stars Several years later, Gunnar is right. February 9, 2013
Subscription Term Name:1 year auto-renewal
I mistakenly subscribed to this for two long years, instead of the intended Rock & Ice. I just received the latest issue only to see on the front cover, a great photo, but one I'd seen in Rock & Ice more than a year ago! This is the second time in the last 6 months this has happened. I've been climbing for more than 30 years and there's nothing in this magazine of interest to me. I'm going to cancel it, and I don't care if they send a refund or not. Going to Rock & Ice.
