I purchased this item and it did not come with the rotor spindle oil or the string like it claimed. I really needed the string so was very disappointed when it was not there.

If you need rotor spindle oil or string do not purchase this product as it does not contain either. Thinking it was missing the items I requested a replacement. The second shipment did not contain either of the items. Rest of the package was as advertised. Typical Yamaha items in sealed package.

It's okay. Nothing too special. You can definitely get a better French horn maintenance kit at a better price. Didn't really get that much string either and the polishing cloth is pretty small for a French horn. The best part of this kit was the snake and mouthpiece brush which you can also get for a much much cheaper price. Not terrible but not great either.
