This makeup kit was perfect for what I needed it for. It wasn't thick but it wasn't too light. I'm not sure where people are getting at the whole waxy thing, it didn't see, waxy at all. It blended in ways I needed as well. The only downside was that I used up all the black in just one costume, but I knew that was most likely going to happen. I will be buying more in the future!

I'm not sure why others had so many issues. I used this kit for a scarecrow act at a festival. The colors were vibrant; the paint dried quickly and stayed on despite sweat. I had make-up left over after four full applications. You can't see the green in the picture, but the green was a lovely bright shade just darker than Kelly green. I used my own applicator sponges as the kit only comes with a small applicator.
