After a long wait I finally received my Tusko monitor carrier. It looks well made, and I love the design and features. The mesh pockets for mouse and cords is a nice design feature. The keyboard mount looks good as well. The case seems adequately padded and the handle is nice.

The problem is that on arrival, one of the small snap buckles that help stabilize the lateral movement of the monitor within the case was broken. These snaps are not well made. Careful inspection shows that the two spots where they broke (which actually broke the snap in half) is the thin plastic bands that connect the female side of the buckle to the strap. The two areas that broke are about a millimeter thick and this does not seem like a very good design.

I have emailed ROCCAT support and I will see if they can send me a replacement snap.

This bag appears to be a quality designed bag. I eagerly awaited the arrival of this bag. However once I received it and started using it I was quickly disappointed. It has several shortcomings:

1st the description states that the bag will accommodate monitors or screens up to 24" And while this may be true I would not recommend using this bag for a 24" monitor. A 24" inch monitor will fit flush with the width edges of the bags. This means that there is no protection if one should hit a wall or piece of furniture. The monitor is going to be nicked or scratched by whatever it comes in contact with. This may not be an issue for monitors with the width of 23" or less.

This case should have been designed with flaps that fold inward of the side straps and snaps to cover and protect the side of the monitor during transport. This is a huge oversight.

2nd This case is best suited for monitors or TVs that have incorporated the stand using the VESA mounting system. If your equipment has the stand on the bottom of the equipment then this case may not work for you or you may be required to remove the stand each time you put the monitor into the case. The reason for this is that there is no opening on the bottom of the case to allow for accommodation of bottom mounted TV stands. If you do use the VESA mounted stand I recommend a quick disconnect system for quick stand removal. There are several types of these quick disconnect mounts available for $15-$20.

In addition the back of this case should have been designed with a flap to fully protect the back of the TV whenever there is no stand mounted via the VESA mount, but as it is the back of this case remains open exposing the TV's connections to elements, dust, dirt, etc.Read more ›

I'm traveling a lot, hauling two desktop computers and two laptops. Note: This product is not for a laptop; it is for a monitor. My "Tusko" is super easy to throw over my Viewsonic monitor and "click, click." The mesh bag is a little tight for a mouse and cables but I am not at all bothered by that. This product looks like a bullet-proof vest for my monitor. Having it makes it easier for me to protect and haul what I need when I have to work onsite.

As my overly descriptive title indicates, I bought this 'bag' at $45 a couple of months ago, and even at that price point I'm less than thrilled with the purchase. And at the time of this posting, the cheapest price available is $85, which is totally ridiculous. This bag has literally about $2.50 worth of materials and $0.50 worth of labor put into its construction, and it doesn't even work well for its intended purpose. It should be retailing at $15 - $20, tops.

Beyond pricing, the bag itself has shortcomings that could have easily been avoided or negated. Like most other reviewers here, I bought mine to carry a 20" all-in-one desktop/tablet (since those seem to be the only electronic device made in the last decade that doesn't have a million and one companies over-saturating the 'accessories' market), and I cringe every time I have to use this thing. 1 inch nylon lashing straps with plastic buckles are the only thing standing between my computer and the pavement, and those straps are not even secured or treated with a gripping agent to prevent them from slipping right on out of their holds.

For reference, the same amount of 1" black nylon lashing straps and buckles can be found at Walmart (camping/outdoors section) for under $5, retail. So would doubly-strong 2 inch lashing straps, along with the means to secure them from accidental slippage. Just a bit of perspective.

Lastly, while the bag can indeed hold the monitor or all-in-one in it's main storage area, it completely fails at holding things like a keyboard, power adapter, mouse, etc.Read more ›

I use this bag to carry my 23" Asus monitor to our weekly gaming sessions. I've been looking for something to protect my monitor that didn't cost more than the monitor itself (which most cases do and then some). The included shoulder strap is comfortable and is very sturdy. When the shoulder strap is attached, the base of the monitor is held at a position that doesn't hit me as I walk. This bag makes transport super easy and I couln't be happier with the purchase. I still can't believe how inexpensive this product is compared to other options. The title of the product says "laptop" but this is not for a laptop.

The Roccat Tusko is an excellent option for taking your monitor out and about.

P.S. the area that is designed to hold a keyboard is just big enough to carry a Hori RAP V3 fightstick. The Mad Catz TE and Pro don't fit and I wouldn't necessarily recommend carrying a fightstick like that but it could work in a pinch.
