Size: Micro Tip Bent 30, 1.6mm Verified Purchase
Over the course of my life, I had owned several pairs of tweezers, and they were, without exception, utterly useless. I now own several pairs of Wiha tweezers, and they are great. These Wiha tweezer tips seem to be ground fairly accurately, so the tips mate with each other to a satisfactory degree, and you can actually tweeze stuff.

The arms on this particular pair of tweezers are bent near the tip to be more ergonomic. The tips themselves are shaped like a pair of small rectangular paddles. Without using a ruler, I estimate the paddles are about 2 mm long. The paddle tips provide a nice, solid grip for objects of a certain size and shape.

I use these tweezers for electronics. They seem to work well for manipulating certain kinds of surface mount integrated circuit packages. On occasion, I've also used them to remove splinters and such. However, if you work with electronics or small items a lot, you're really going to want an entire set of tweezers. One size and shape of tweezers is not sufficient for all tasks, although one good pair of tweezers is way better than nothing.
