The photo I attached compares the colors on 0.7 lead pencil and the two colors (pink and orange) are for comparison of brightness. The two colors on the right are what I'm looking for in a highlighter.
In general: The colors are too dark for me. The only color that is bright enough is the yellow. The yellow is perfect, but the other colors, especially the pink and green are too dark. In proper lighting the text is readable, but under dim lighting and when highlighting over pencil, it's hard to read. When highlighting over ballpoint pen, the text is much easier to read, but not really ideal over black gel pens because it does smudge. I feel like the orange is also very muted in color concentration. It's hard to tell via picture but in real life somehow that one looks almost pastel to me.
