While other keyboard covers are a thick silicone about 0.50mm thick this is much thinner and does not impede your typing. I am typing on it right now with my new Aluminum Apple Keyboard with a keypad. The Caps Lock cover even has a clear area where the LED is so you can see if the Caps Lock is on or not. The cover fits snugly over the keys and you can hit the keys on the sides and not have any problems. The black keys with the clear cover looks great like the old Apple keyboards with black keys did. The cover also has edges that wrap around the edges of the keyboard. This will protect your keyboard and not impede your typing the way the thicker silicone covers made by other companies seem to. I am more than pleased with this product!

I have purchased other keyboard covers, but this one is clearly the best. When typing, the keys have a good feel, and it has not slowed down my typing at all. And I have already tipped a coffee cup onto it (accidentally, not as a noble search for empirical enlightenment) and found that it did all that oen would want to protect a keyboard. I particularly like that I can see the "Cap Lock" light through a well-designed "window."

My only concern is the shipping cost. I don't see why this small, light object should have a shipping/handling fee of over $8. Even so, I'll be buying another keyboard protector later this year (for another computer) and I'll be getting another one of these.

I really like this keyboard cover. It serves the function as protection from crumbs. I did find that there was some kind of condensation underneath forming on the keys, and I'm not exactly sure why. Other than that, the keyboard cover works as expected and is nice to type on. The black also looks really sleek.

This is a great keyboard cover! Unlike some other keyboard covers that restricted my ability to type (like from Topcase), you don't know the Dr Bott's cover is installed - except for the cool look of the black keys and protection from spills, dust, and dirt. I couldn't type like normal using the Topcase keyboard cover because you had to forcefully hit the space bar and many other keys. Dr. Bott's product doesn't have any negatives.

Looks great and the added rubberized texture might give the me the bit of support I was looking for on this rigid keyboard. The only downside is their giant logo embossed into the clear part above the arrows and yet ANOTHER giant logo in whit on the sace key. Very inappropriate and distracting. I wouldn't buy one again because of this. I tried a sharpie on it right out of the box and ruined it. It looks terrible now and I've owned it for 5 minutes. A small visible logo off to the corner would have sufficed guys. nobody cares to see your logo all day every day. Staring me in the face while I Work. oh well.

I absolutely love this keyboard cover! The packaging was great so no fold marks and went onto the keyboard easily. Fits like it's part of the keyboard itself. It's not just nice to type on, in's actually BETTER! It's softer to the keystrokes and response is the same as if there was no cover at all. Can type much easier. Great if you are a coder. I'm extremely happy with this cover. It seems to be one of the thinnest, most comfortable one that I've come across. Definitely worth the extra bucks. Fits so nice, and the quality seems very durable.

I got the Moshi one and its as awful. Typing was hard and terrible. This one by KB shipped fast and is amazing. It covers the top and around the sizes. It actually makes typing easier and not as loud. I love and am so happy. don't look anywhere else!!

I am on my second Apple wired keyboard replacement. Two keyboards failed after trying to clean the white keys.
As you wipe a damp cloth across the keyboard, the aluminum edges of the keyboard cutouts scrape water from the cleaning cloth and the water drains down into the keyboard. Once this happens, the keyboard is gone. No amount of drying the keyboard will help.
This silicone cover is very thin and fits well. The tactile feel of the keyboard is different with the cover on. My fingers don't slide on the keys. This doesn't bother me, but it might some users.
Because the keys are black on the cover, and the cover can be removed for cleaning, keeping the keyboard clean is much easier with no risk of damage. The cover would also protect the keyboard from accidental spills as well.
