Nice unit, quality materials...

I spent hours researching safety features, construction, reviews, innovative new product, etc. before making a choice of purchase. I was all but a click away from purchasing the "spring-less" trampoline design until I saw a competitors (imagine that!) video clips with the fiberglass bow supports slicing carrots(!) and looked closely at the clips pointing out the fact that the landing surface moves horizontally at point of contact causing undue strain on ankles, knees and who knows what else as the jumper's body has to twist in an unnatural way! Well back to the old standard styles...

This jumper is exactly as it's described, parts are labelled and packaged following the instruction's order of events. Major components are easily recognized and though time consuming, set up was relatively easy. It seems to be holding up just fine and seems to be fairly priced for what you get. In my case, 14' seems smaller than I expected (would go 17' with a do-over) as our primary users are in their early teens. I would readily recommend this particular mfg and model as very good "bang for the buck" when buying a trampoline.

You must be willing to swallow the fact that none of these trampolines are "safe", just some "safer" than others. The only safety you can rely on is educating your kids on the proper usage of the device and pray they don't land "wrong" in any major way!

So far so good

After scouring the internet and reading reviews, I decided on the Jumpsport Elite 14' model. Beware of reviews which appear to be written by paid parent bloggers. Also, there are manufacturer sponsored website that review all manufacturer models and of course rate their model the highest. I'm not even sure if Jumpsport is the best but here's my "unpaid" review.

Good
- Materials appear to be a cut above the standard with thicker steel frame and foam padding. There are some exceptions with the top plastic caps that hold the netting in place. I can see these cracking over time and requiring frequent replacement. It's a shame since the rest of the materials appear to be high quality.
- Plenty of bounce out of the box and stable steel frame
- Instructions are actually decent - you just need to read before installation and know that you'll make mistakes.
- the optional ladder helps our kids enter and exit the trampoline more safely
- delivery was fast (arrived in 3 days). Be prepared to carry 350 lbs of boxes to the backyard.
- the entry/exit is a clever idea and appears to be safe

Needs improvement
- Assembly took 5-6 hours with one person. Instructions are better than I expected but budget time to fix mistakes
- Cheap plastic caps at the top of the pole/netting.
- Bungy cords hold the matting down over the springs. they come pre-tied with knots (several needed to re-tied). Overall I would have preferred a better solution to hold the matting in place.
- Several poles arrived scratched which could develop rust (leaving bare metal exposed to elements). They could include a touch up paint kit.

Only time will tell how well our jumpsport trampoline holds up over time. I will update my review in a year.

Solid and safe

The trampoline is solid, with a very safe-seeming net and padding. It has survived a summer of use and a winter of Oregon snow and rain, and still looks as good as new. My kids love it, so I'm 100% satisfied.

Excellent experience with JumpSport

This is the model I purchased directly from JumpSport. Construction is sturdy. Assembly was not difficult. When a storm knocked a tree down on our trampoline, I was able to buy replacement parts from JumpSport. I was very happy with the product and the service.

Not the high quality, safety minded piece if equipment they claim to be

I am mostly in agreement with what is said about the trampoline here but the safety is questionable. Jump Sport talks a big safety game but their enclosure which costs 150.00 to replace only lasts 2 years, on the 3rd year a neighbor went right through the side. When I spoke to customer service about this they were not surprised and said by 3 years they need to be replaced. I had no idea when I selected Jump Sport that I would have a consumable charge of 50.00 to 75.00 per year to own this piece of equipment.

Not the high quality, safety minded piece if equipment they claim to be; might be better off buying the disposal trampolines and replacing every couple years, in the long run it could be cheaper

JumpSport makes great products....this is one of them.

I've assembled hundreds of trampolines.....that's exactly what my business does, is trampoline assembly. This particular JumpSport Elite model is top of the line and worth every penny. Very thick heavy duty powder coated frame, thick and long bouncy springs. The padding is yard friendly forest green, and also very thick. The enclosure on these units are great. I'm not trying to pull you away from Amazon to purchase from me, but you may want to bookmark me for my services of assembling it for you (in the Dallas - Fort Worth area, then google Jumpy Joey Trampoline Company). If you're a serious buyer and want an unbiased opinion on the safety of trampolines, then visit trampolinesafety . c o m . It takes my helper and I close to 3 hours to assemble this unit.....which is great compared to the 5+ hours it used to take us. A 2 person team is definitely recommended for this unit. An A-frame ladder will also come in handy as well as it's very tall. You will not be disappointed by this purchase.
