I purchased this Drive Medical Bathtub Mat for an elderly parent. I installed the mat and ensured that the suction cups on the bottom were clinging to the tub surface. Unfortunately, the first time it was used for a shower, the mat slid right out from under her and nearly caused a serious accident. It was removed and will not be used again.

This bath mat came rolled up tighter than a drum and we haven't been able to straighted it out since day one. We've put bricks, stones and any other conceivable object to lay this flat on the bottom of the tub. It still refuses to unroll. We finally took it out and I would never purchase this again.

The large size is great for giving my youngster a bath. It is still mildew free after months of use. But oddly, one end of it has never fully uncurled after being shipped in a rolled up form. I have to wet it and work it a bit to get it flat, but once we are underway, it's fine.

My old bath mat took quite a beating. My daughters love to take baths still, and unfortunately we live in an area with some pretty hard water. Our previous mat was not equipped with great suctions either, so it did a lot of sliding around which became a really big pain to keep after. I ordered this mat to replace the old one, and so far we're loving it. It's large enough to cover a decent area on the tub floor-useful for baths and showers. The grip is great and provides wonderful anti-slip protection. In addition, the padding is also decent, so sitting on this is much more comfortable that a standard mat (and definitely a big improvement from our previous one). The bottom suctions are strong and keep this mat in place nicely.

One feature I quite like is the slot for the tub drain on one side. This makes it easy to set the mat right in place, and it conveniently hugs the shower drain-which is also very helpful for cleaning purposes. If I need to scrub this mat down, I can spray the cleaner on it, brush it, and rinse the excess directly into the drain.

Great tub mat, I'm very happy we purchased this one (and very reasonably priced!).

Not being sure-footed, I truly need a mat that won't slide. A comment I read from one person was that it slipped, so I made sure that I pushed the mat down well with my hands before I stepped in the tub and followed by being very careful and holding on to my grab bar. It had stayed put very well. But with all mats, one has to make sure to push it down to secure it before stepping on it.

I love the longer length as well. It give me plenty of safe movement area.

This was good while it lasted. Anti-slip grip is very good too. I can't say it a problem, but it baffles me that although I hang it up to dry after shower every day, mold spots still form on the bottom.

This is a really nice bath tub mat, but I can't get rid of the curl in one end. It's very heavy-duty and adheres well to the bottom of the tub, and I really give that feature 5 stars, but when I hang it up to drip dry, one end curls up really high and tight, and I need to use clothes pins to clip it to the other end so it will hang straight down and dry. I'm hoping when the weather warms up I can lay it out in the sun and perhaps that will straighten it out. The curling aspect is really annoying, to say the least!
