I was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in April 2010, I started taking this in Dec. I have colon cancer with mets to my liver lungs and lymph nodes. I am still here and my cancer is stable. I have a KRAS mutation which means I have less drug options and a theoretical 6 month shorter life span than those with the mutation. Sadly for my cancer buddies, I am doing much better and have outlived most. I only take this and an oragnic vitamin and probiotic and a baby aspirin every day. I have tried other supplements but they cause various side effects. I think it is a life saver and I would never give it up.

First let me say that as an amateur mushroom cultivator, Paul Stamets' books are the gold standard, or even The Mushroom Bible if you will. He is the authority on all things mushroom. No other reference comes close to the detail and attention Stamets pays to cultivating mushrooms. Having said that, and having personally taken over 8 brands of medicinal mushroom supplements, including Aloha Medicinal brands, this MyCommunity product featuring 17 different types of mushrooms, is unsurpassed. (EDIT: "MushroomShen" has a more potent product and some cutting edge offerings, and is much cheaper as well. (.com and on ebay) For me this confirms the idea that mushroom fruiting bodies produce a better supplement than mycelium.) For the money, some swanson products may or may not be a little better value, (EDIT: avoid Swanson, they refuse to remove magnesium stearate from their products! ) but there is absolutely not a stronger more potent product than this. Taken with a vitamin C supplement to improve absorption, about an hour and a half after taking on an empty stomach you are met with a rush of energy and an even feeling with a definite drop in anxiety. This is by far my favorite supplement and the only one I look forward to taking.
(EDIT)As my interest and appreciation grows for mushrooms, I no longer purchase this product. I will give it points for convenience and variety, but I now use actual mushroom fruiting bodies, not mycelia extract. I find that fruiting body supplements produce a stronger and more complete/complex effect, there is no comparison. Personally, I think Stamets is making 10x more money using mycelia that he brews in lab vats, than he would growing out actual mushrooms, which are far more medicinal than mycelia. The cost of this mycelia supplement continues to rise. Good luck, a good mushroom regimen is worth the research.

For those who do not know, Paul Stamets is a forerunner in the world of mushrooms. I've many of his books, and one day I was walking thru my local vitamin store and I was shocked to see a product carrying the "fungi perfecti" logo. knowing what I know about various mushrooms, I could not leave the store w/o this bottle.

Let me put it this way; I felt a cold come on, I took two pills, gone. poof.
I feel a little inflammation in my throat, it goes away.

Read one of Paul's books. find out what these individual mushrooms do,
then take them in pill form and you will notice that they do exactly what they are intended to do.

More than just immunity. I keep an extra bottle just in case I run out

Ok...I am not the kind of person who really likes to endorse a vitamin with such gusto but I gotta say that these pills have literally SAVED ME this winter!

I was introduced to these at my local Vitamin Shoppe by the salesman and wasn't sure what to make of them. I thought they seemed extremely pricey and wasn't really sure if I wanted to shell out the dough for a one month supply of "shrooms". After the guy told me how amazing these were and how well they strengthened the immune system I couldn't really help but give them a try. He was VERY vocal about how wonderful they were and I am an easy sale...so I bought them!

These have kept me healthy ALL winter! I haven't caught ONE cold or flu and I was exposed to several of them!!!!! I even had to care for my mom who caught the super-bug that was going around (everyone in my family actually had it) and was POSITIVE I was going to catch it from the exposure I had to it.

Never got sick!!!

I am the person who ALWAYS catches every illness that goes around. I usually have it within hours of being exposed. I have never had a "cold/flu-free" winter until this one and I can only give credit to Fungi Perfecti My Community suppliments. They are incredible. I am always stocked up on them now.

Try these out if you have a weak immune system and want to keep yourself healthy. These work INCREDIBLY!!!!!!!!!!

They have been a life-saver to me! I can't rave about them to friends and family enough!

This stuff works. I ussually get sick each winter multiple times. Simple colds, sinus infections, etc. I began taking this this winter and did not get sick once. Not once. This is highly unussual for me, and I can only attribute it to this product. It was recommended to me by my TCM doctor who said her feedback has been outstanding.
