Pulled the flywheel as designed, but the price was outrageous if you ask me. It's a few bolts/nuts, and a cheezy piece of painted metal. I would have been happy to pay $14 if the material quality was higher, but I could probably bend one of these bolts with my bare hands.

As a guy who works on a lot of small engines, the last 24 years I have gotten away without ever having to use a puller to remove a flywheel...until recently. I had a flywheel that was so stuck (because of a sheared flywheel key) that I had no choice but to order this. I put it on, tightened up the top nuts just a little, and POP...up came the flywheel. Best purchase ever! Worked great.

This is JUNK. Look at the picture I have attached. The bolt BROKE. For a puller that is this price that is no excuse. Very poor product, do not spend your hard earned money on this.

Now I have to go even longer without mowing my grass..

Repair Clinic and E Replacement Parts has parts. E Replacement Parts has exploded views. Morrison Outdoor Equipment has parts and Brigg lawnmower valve guide tools and valve guide bushings. Check the Brigg repair manual for tools needed. Try to find a Brigg Parts Manual used. It has exploded views and Brigg numbers.

Performed exactly as advertised. Be warned, when the instructions say it "pops" off the drive shaft, it REALLY pops! I thought I had broken something, but I hadn't. Also cut very clean threads into the flywheel without too much force required.
