I diluted the water colors like suggested on the package to make them last longer. The 1-ounce bottle is very small! The colors, obviously, are not as brilliant but are perfect for my 3 year old son. I've never used liquid water colors, so I'm curious about how long they will last. I'm thinking next time I might add 2 parts water instead of 3 to have brighter colors. Overall I am happy with the consistency and colors. It was a good purchase for the price. I re-used McD's happy meal milk bottles to dilute them. They are the perfect size, seal well when not in use, and won't spill when he puts his paint brush in.

I really wanted to like these watercolors, but i was not too impressed. I bought them originally to color paper filters (to create flowers on). The color is not really that vibrant, i expected more. I am sure if you get those for a starter painting project, they would be fine. Also, one more thing i found annoying - the bottles are not labeled with the colors, some colors you can guess easily (red), but good luck trying to understand if it is blue, black or green

Used these for dyeing Easter eggs and they were a hit! Squirt a bunch of shaving cream on a cookie sheet, then dribble the watercolors on top. Let the kids roll the eggs in the cream and then let eggs sit. Wipe off and you have marble-look eggs! Works best with dark colors (so everything but yellow). The color washed easily off clothes, skin, and even my blonde toddler's hair.

Bottles have a top that allows you to pour one drop at a time. Mine arrived with all the colors, no leaks.

I ordered these watercolors for my elementary classroom. The colors are very vivid! I have used them for several very different activities and they have worked well each time. I have only used a few drops at a time. I am sure they will last me a long time!

So we purchased this item because I was looking for a product that I could use on art projects with my 2YO that would not stain his clothes or body. A lot of these projects say to use food colouring, but we have had issues with this staining clothes, his skin etc.

This set comes with a 6 count of colours, that - while they don't look bright - they have a great pigmentation and look really beautiful even in toddler art work. They some in 1 ounce dropper bottles and rather than trust small hands not to make a mess we put a few drops into a small container and dilute with a littler water, Droppers can then be used to apply as and when you or your small person want.

A little goes a long way - especially if you are diluting the inks. We have used these to make large bottles of coloured glue, to dye coffee filters to make craft pictures and butterflies, for salt artwork and numerous other mini projects along the way. We have found these great value for money and I would definitely buy again

The big advantage of these is that when they get on clothes and/or skin, and they will if you are using them with a small person, it will wash out/off cleanly.

First time using liquid water colors - love them ! Used them with the residents at the home where I work to make butterflies with paper towels. We dropped the colors using droppers; some were diluted a small bit and some about half & half. So we got bright, brilliant colors and more subtle almost pastel colors. Very nice product & came on time as promised.

Really nice colors, but not as strong as I'd expected. I had to use amost a third of the bottle to get a strong color for the art project we were doing. And some of the bottles had leaked during shipping, so I had less to start with.

Anyway, this did not stain my driveway and the colors were bright and fabulous. I could do without black but the boys thought the black was "cool". LOL.
