The shipping was very quick for these; I received them two days after ordering. I ordered 3 of this product and they all have expiration dates that are two years out from the purchase date. They all arrived very clean and properly sealed. The pills are very small; I can't imagine anyone having a problem swallowing them.

For those on the fence about D2 vs D3 like I was before purchasing this product, here is a useful presentation by the head of the Vitamin D Counsel showing that vegan Vitamin D2 is just as effective as animal derived Vitamin D3:

[...]

Every day, I take two of these pills (2x800iu) and one Deva Vegan Vitamins Daily Multivitamin (which has 400iu) for a daily total of 2,000 iu of Vitamin D.

About the best you can find in a vegan D2 vitamin. I did a little research and found that the D2 in this supplement comes from fungi.

But I live in super sunny Oregon (did you catch my sarcasm there?) and my doctor recommended a vitamin D supplement. Since I take the regular DEVA vegan multivitamins (Deva Vegan Vitamins Daily Multivitamin Iron Free, 90 Tablets (Pack of 2)) and have a decent amount of D in my diet as well as run outdoors, I was recommended the smaller dose instead of the 2000 IU.

It is a good supplement to have if you do not get enough vitamin D in your diet.

I definitely feel a difference when I take Vitamin D, and I am really happy with this brand. Small and easy to take. As someone that sits inside all day, almost every day, I definitely feel the no-sun-blues and adding this to my diet really, really made a difference. That and a green juice in the morning (and of course trying to get outside at least on weekends) and I can honestly say blues have faded.

I have been taking one of these daily all through the winter because I don't spend as much time outdoors. I can't tell a huge difference than from when I wasnt taking them, but I havent being feeling down like have have in past winter seasons and I've also avoided colds for a long while. I have also been taking the Deva multi-vitamin. These are very small and don't stink. Deva seems to be of good quality and value whether your vegan or not.

I can't find vitamin D2 anywhere where I live. I was happy to find it on amazon and for a good price. My doctor recommended me to take 800 IU a day. This pill is perfect! I can get the 800 IU a day that I need with the one small pill.

As other reviewers have noted, D3 is made of animal products, but D2 is a vegan alternative that still is readily absorbed by your body.

I've been taking Vitamin D supplements on a daily basis for over a year. Because I have had some pre-cancerous areas removed from my skin, I have to be sure to wear a high SPF sunscreen every day. Some routine blood work I had showed that I had low D levels, my doctor started me on a supplement, and has had me on it ever since.

These pills are easy to swallow, and the 90-count bottle is a good size.

I'm so glad that Amazon is carrying more and more natural and vegan products!

The company was very helpful when I called to ask about splitting the tablets into two 400-dosages per day.

Also, DEVA carries all vegan supplements, which means no killing of any living beings.

I take one every night. My most recent lab results placed my D level within normal. I spend very little time outside, and have light brown skin, so this is of great importance to me. Higher vitamin D levels in your body mean lower levels of pain for someone like me with a pain disorder. I recommend this product.
