I bought this in the hopes to cut down on drafts for our window a/c. The cover is essentially a plastic bag with elastic. It reminds me of the ones my granny used to wear when washing her hair to keep her curlers dry. So fast forward to the big storm. I tried using this last night, for drafts mind you, the bag balloons out and POPS off. The thing does not stay in place. I had to weight it down with books, etc. Even with these the cover is coming off due to the draft.

Please save your money and avoid this product.

My A/C unit is a monster so I wasn't enthused about removing and reinstalling it for the winter here in Michigan. I put this cover on the inside of A/C unit, behind the curtains. Then I put a heavier canvas cover over the outside of the unit. This seems to have stopped the cold air leaks pretty well though not perfect.

In any case, it should be ready immediately when the warm weather hits.

I chose this item because it looked like it was exactly what I wanted, but the elastic is not as good as it was advertised and I think it the item was over priced for what I received. Am using it but am disappointed. Thank you.

Don't know yet if it will help, but from the look of it, it looks really really really... cheap. Worth probably no more than a dollar.
I will come back here and update this review if it turns out to be good. Right now just looking at it, I'm very disappointed that I paid $9 for it. Feels like it's a rip off.

We also bought a couple AC covers from Endraft for $11 to $16, those look to be very solid.

Very disappointing. It was a bit difficult to get the cover to stay in place and I had to tape it to hold it in place due to drafts from my A/C. It provides no insulation at all, just blocks air from blowing.
