This is my second Strad Pad. The first was not properly cared for (my fault) so I got another one. The only problem would be the color, because on black, you can tell where the oil marks are. Even so, it's the comfort that matters, and it made violin playing easier.

I have been seeking a comfortable solution to holding my instrument for many years. I have tried several chin rests and shoulder rests. The best solution so far is a high shoulder pad, but I can't use this chin rest makes my neck uncomfortable when used with the high shoulder pad. I will look for a thinner chin rest pad.

it makes your chinrest super soft but its really thick and it changes the shape of your chinrest so i had no grip and i cant use it
