I bought some sorbo channels years back that have the plastic end caps. The bevel on the underside of those has a sharper angle so the blade metal never touches the glass. On this new channel, the bevel is less sharp so it easily bumps agains the class if you pull it too flat across the glass. You have to pull the handle away from the glass further so the channel doesn't rub against the glass. I need to look into why the bevel angle is different on this style without the plastic end caps.

I purchased the 18" Sorbo Squeegee, because I saw one being used during a vacation at the beach. The young man washing the windows said this is the only squeegee he uses and it was obvious because of how nice the windows looked.
