Being a very logical minded person I hesitated to even try this product. After all, it's just pieces of tape stretched in funny ways that you won't know exactly how to do anyways, right? Wrong!

I've been having rotator cuff pain that needs looked at, but am waiting for the season to be over to fix it properly. I figured with as much consistent pain as I've been having, I'd give this tape a shot. After some basic taping method advice on you-tube and a helping hand by the wife, my shoulder was taped and ready for a weekend of softball. I tell you either by voodoo magic, placebo grunting, or product effectiveness, I felt no pain through two back to back tough fought slow pitch softball games. Sweating like crazy the tape held strong, and stayed strong through the shower after the game, all night, and the shower the next morning. When I took it off after the second shower, I felt my shoulder pain starting to return and get back to the normal dull pain. It's completely anecdotal, but I don't care, I'm putting it back on.

Will it work for you? I don't know, but I'd give it a shot for the price asked here for the amount. There is plenty that arrived to mess up a few times and still have tons left over. I highly recommend seeing if it works for you, because as of this moment I am a believer. Now, let's just hope it doesn't turn me into a frog or something with extended use.

I bought this to treat achilles tendonitis. I researched quite a bit and found mixed reviews. Athletes sing its praises while others say it's only the placebo effect. In my experience, it really does help. I work 12 hour shifts so I can't just stay off my feet and let it heal. The pain was so bad I was limping. I applied it and my ankle/heel was less painful. I thought maybe it was just my imagination, so I removed it and left it off for a day. The pain came back with a vengance! I applied the tape again, and it eased. The pain didn't completely go away, but there was a noticable improvement. I plan on continuing to use this until the tendonitis is healed. I can't get it to stay on the 3 days that they claim. I can only get two days wear, but that's pretty good. Proper skin prep is the key. I use Mueller pre-tape spray. (I bought that here, too.) I run a piece from under my heel straight up the back of my leg. Then, I put a piece horizontally across the back of my ankle. The second piece is the one that comes off first. The edges start rolling. It will last through a shower if you don't scub it or pick at it when wet. It dries pretty quickly. If I wear a sock the second piece of tape lasts longer. I couldn't get it to last even one day without the sticky prep. There is also a certain technique for applying the tape since it has stretch. It's easy to find videos online. I like that the beige blends in with my skin tone. I don't know how it works. It may be the support to the joint, or a bit of warmth to help blood flow. The company's website says that the elastic properties lift the skin just enough to increase the blood flow in the tissues.

Love this K tape & it works!
Initially purchased for my dad several months ago. Have since reordered a couple of time because he loves it! Provides relief for his back pain & seems to stay on well.

I got "cute" & purchased a different brand (primarily because of the color) for my wife to use on her knee. Ended up she didn't like it & it didn't stick well. So I switched her to this brand & she loves it too!

This tape has the cutting lines on the paper backing side, which makes measuring & cutting a snap!

I tape frequently and I prefer this tape now because: 1. it stretches and I can adjust the tension and allow for swelling. 2. It is breathable and therefore, I do not have to use something under it to protect the skin. 3. If properly applied to skin that has been washed with simple soap and dried well, it will stay on for up to a week or more 4. It holds up well in water sports and even when walking on it barefoot.

The shipping was fast and this supplier is great! I use only this Kinesio Tex brand, on both my lower leg, feet and knees to help control edema and help muscles to not fatigue that have neuropathy. When applied as per the training from my Physical Therapist: They are extremely effective in helping both conditions. These hold on the skin well. As long as I have first applied and wiped the skin with rubbing alcohol they can last for many days. I also apply to just washed skin that is totally dried with no rubbing alcohol and that lasts for 3 days too. I think this is better for the skin. The gold color is really a nude color.This makes them not noticed by others as they blend to my light skin. The bright blue, black and pink are always noticed and everybody always wants to know why I have them on - yet also tell me they look 'cool'. The gold is best for a lady who wants to be wearing a skirt/dress and not make them obvious. Great product with wonderful adhesion! Watch out when you pull the backing off that they do not stick together. I cut the corners with a curve, tear a little of the paper about 2" in from the edge, and peel that part off and apply it to the starting point. then as I lay the remaining taps on I pull the paper as I go. Then rub over it as the friction makes it stick better. Some application and positioning of the tape would be easier with assistance, but I can do it by myself if I am careful.
