Love the design. Easy to pick up with finger cut out on bottom. Removable metal bowls to use. Perfect neat small design for my 5lb shipoo. Her old bowl allowed her ears to dip in her food, this one doesn't. Personally I think the people with 7lb dogs who say the food size is too small are over feeding their dogs. Perhaps maybe they want it for leaving dry food out all the time, in that scenario the food side would be small. You get more room though if you remove aluminum bowl and just use food area under it. If you have a dog 7lbs and under and you only put food down at feeding time then it's perfect. Water side is ample.
My only issue is color. I wanted pink but a couple of reviews warned it was lavender not pink so I ordered white. Well white isn't white either, it's off white or ivory ish. They need to get it together on their color descriptions at dogit apparently.

perfect size for a small dog. my 10 lb pom/yorkie likes it, and it's easy to clean. the plastic part holding the bowls actually go all the way under the bowl (not just an empty hole) and is very solid

This doggy food bowl is great for small dogs. I have yorkie who is 4lbs and this double bowl is perfect. I use the bigger size bowl for water because she drink a lot of water and the small bowl for food. The smaller size is about 8oz equal to one cup of food depending on the size of her kibble. I like how you can take the stainless steal bowls out and wash them. The color of the bowl is the same exact color in the picture. I wouldn't recommend this bowl for bigger dogs.

So, one side is substantially smaller than the other. I have a 9 lb toy poodle. I will be placing the food in the smaller side and the water in the bigger dish. It has little rubber dots on the bottom to help the bowl stay in place. The bowls come out of the holder easily for cleaning, but are set in for stablity. I will update as I try it. It appears to be fairly good quality.

UPDATE: I have been using the bowl set for a couple of months. It works. I wish the smaller side was a bit bigger, but we make it work. Occasionally she drops a kibble in the water. I wash it out daily so this is not a problem for me.

Read all the reviews and they look pretty good. I ordered it and it turns out really great. It's great for small size breed. It's not deep so my puppy with a short nose can eat much better than before without bury her head in the bowl. Great product. I only wish the steel bowls can be in a color or have some print/image on them.

In retrospect, I should have paid closer attention to the size of the bowls -- our puppy (soon to be large dog) will definitely outgrow these soon.

Its the perfect size for small breeds like Chihuahuas. Its not too deep and its really easy to clean. The pads on the bottom help to keep it from sliding around. I dont fill the food up all the way to the top, actually just so you cant see the bottom and it takes her a few days to a week or even a week and a half to eat it all - but shes a baby so I would assume as she gets older she'll need it filled every other day.
