I am not impressed at all. I hate the thing basically. It feels cheap, the knobs don't do anything, the blue LEDS are horribly bright, not to mention they flash repetitively when you plug in a fan that requires power. It'll run my 140mm fan at 200rpm... ARE YOU serious? I had planned on running 2 140mm fans at 900-1000 RPM but it looks like this won't happen. They preach that the controller can run a fan up to .5A @12V. Well obviously not, it can't run a 4 watt fan with that needs .18A @ 12V..... Not happy.

This fan controller works great, I have had it for a short period but it has worked great. It comes with both A/C adapter as well as 4 pin molex internal connector if you want to use it inside your computer. The adjustment from low to full speed is smooth and consistent through power up unlike the last fan controller I used. The blue LEDs are only lit for the fans when there is a fan plugged in and they are very bright when looking straight on. I have this installed in my home entertainment center for cooling and while bright it isn't distracting because it is not pointed at the us while viewing.

Overall this is a great controller and I would highly recommend it.

I have purchased several of these because they only last for a year or so. After that it loses its ability to control the speed of the fan. I use it to control the fan in my Home Theater cabinet and tone it down so I don't "hear" the fan noise. It works great for about a year or so then loses the ability to control the speed of the fan so I end up buying one about once a year. I like it, I just wish it lasted longer.

This is not a very strong fan controller. I ended up using a drive bay fan controller hooked up to an old power supply I ripped out of a computer. This might work for some smaller and weaker fans, but if you have anything that is high speed, you may only be able to run 1 fan off of this.
