Directions
Hydrate Shampoo: Apply to wet hair and lather. Rinse. Repeat if necessary. Hydrate Condition: Massage gently into hair and scalp. Wait 1-2 minutes. Rinse. For sensitive scalp, rinse after 30 seconds.

I'm a beauty product nut. I have tried just about every salon shampoo out there, but the one I keep coming back to is Pureology, especially the Hydrate line. They're not necessarily easy to find (thanks, Amazon!), and they do seem pricey, compared to other products ($20+ a small bottle), however, they do go a long way, so you're getting your money's worth when you buy a larger size (33.8 oz is my favorite).

I find the smell very herbal, especially of the Hydrate shampoo, rather than medicinal, and I often buy hair products based solely on their smell, so I wouldn't have bought these if they didn't smell nice. The smell is not strong once you wash your hair - i.e., you don't waft shampoo smell everywhere, but it's pleasant and clean-smelling. These products don't contain sulfates, which will strip your hair of your salon color...also, recent studies have shown that sulfates in shampoo are not great for your skin/health, so there's that benefit of using Pureology products, too. Sulfates are often used in shampoos because they're a cheap detergent that foams well, because people don't seem to think their shampoo is working unless it lathers. So keep that in mind, because these Pureology products don't lather up like other less expensive shampoos, but they DEFINITELY work to gently clean your hair. I find that if I skip a day or two between washes, I do have to repeat the wash (my scalp tends toward oily) to get that fully "clean feeling". However, on my non-wash days, I sometimes just do my bangs and condition the rest and I come out looking fresh and clean.

Just got my duo, the shipping was just as expected but my question is, where is the safety seal on the product? when i opened the tops there was no seal. Is that normal, just scares me becasue then the item could be possibly tampered with, i will update after i use the products.

Well since the safety seals were not on this product has leaked all over the box,
it was so upsetting because that is wasted product and the bottle was damaged as well, so packaging should have been more proper i am very dissapointed, i didnt realize that this seller was actually a seller i bought from 2 months ago that sold me a Redken set and the product was tampered with, they refilled the bottle with fake product then denied the fact that it was fake and refused to return it. Big mistake using this company "Beauty In Style" Please do not use them.

Why did I wait so long to buy good quality hair products? My hair looks so much more beautiful and more body and volume after only two washes!! Will continue to use and buy this for my hair. Think about it, you wear your hair everyday, why not invest in it?

I do wish the large bottles would be sealed. They come wrapped together is plastic which at least protects the other items in the box (for the most part) when one of the bottles os damaged. As it is, one of the bottles exploded and when I unwrapped the packaging there were globs of either shampoo or conditioner all over. I am disappointed because I wanted to try this product after reading good reviews. I washed off one of the bottles but am still posting a picture so that you may judge the packaging for yourself. If I get a chance to try the product in the future I may change my review.

I thought this shampoo and conditioner was too expensive, I used it once and finished it my hair looked awesome!!! I tried for a month to use other brands but my hair got frizzy and dry and texture of my hair changed!!! So I broke down and got another set of them and loving it my hair is soft, no frizzies, no dryness, and I color my hair the color seems to stay in longer when I use this shampoo and conditioner! Love this stuff! This set will probably last me a whole year. My hair used to have a lot of breakage and split ends if it would grow to a certain point past my shoulders. After using this shampoo and conditioner for quite awhile, I no longer have split ends or breakage and it seems that I can grow healthy hair to any length and I'm almost 50.
