It's a great gag, and kids love it. Bad news the plastic is slightly stiff, and digs into your face pretty hard after about 35 minutes. This may not be the same for kids since my fat adult head probably pulled the nose harder into my face. A great nose just don't wear it all night.

The nose itself was fine, yes a slight odor, but I guess thats typical of rubber based products. BUT...it was shown as a good combo with the dog costume so my daughter put the dog costume on and then went to put the nose on and my oldest and observant daughter said "why should she have two noses?" The costume itself has a nose on the hood. So really didn't make sense that she needed this. But it was very inexpensive and my real dog actually ended up chewing this nose up within 5 minutes of me opening the package. : )

This dog nose really does look good and has quality details for a simple rubber mold. Unfortunately, the molded rubber edges are slightly sharp and will leave a marks on your face. The maker of these needs to address the lack of comfort with rounded or softened edges.
