Some people just don't understand how magic erasers work. Yes, they disintegrate. It's melamine foam and disintegrate. The harder you use it, the more it wears and it's powdery remnant scrubs somewhat like sandpaper. That's the magic.

As a mop, I think it's amazing. It does its job to pick up stubborn dirt. For s really bad spot, you may need to whip out a magic eraser sponge with some elbow grease, but this is really quite handy. Just check out in my picture how this thing took off stubborn dirt in only minutes.

The only thing is the squeeze handle isn't very effective. I have to wring out the dirty sponge by hand. Might just break off the squeezer part. Next time I might get the butterfly version to replace this one.

PROS:
* Looks good
* It does actually clean the floors, so it gets the job done

CONS:
* Pricier than a normal mop, but it doesn't clean the floors any better than your average mop.
* This is not recommended for wooden floors, whereas cheaper mops can go on any surface after you change your cleaning solution. My house has tile and wood floors, so I'd need to buy 2 mops in order to clean my floors - one for tile and one for wood.
* The handle to squeeze out the mop is poorly designed. You cannot squeeze out the sponge in the mop bucket, since the handle needs to flip down and around the sponge. I much prefer a butterfly mop, since you can rinse that out in the mop bucket. I got dirty water on my hands and feet every time I went to squeeze out the sponge with this one.
* Once you flip the handle back onto the pole after squeezing out the sponge, the dirty water drips all over the place. It left dirty water drops all around the bucket, around the counters when the bucket was sitting in the sink, and on the floor in front of the sink. The design of it doesn't account for a good angle or corner where the water can drain out after getting squeezed.
* It makes a loud snapping sound when you click the handle back onto the pole after squeezing out the sponge. I know this sounds petty, but I clean when the kids are napping. They nap in a pack n play in the living room, and here I am in the dining room and kitchen, trying to clean, but this loud pop wakes them up every 30 seconds when I squeeze out the sponge.
* Even after sweeping up dog hair prior to mopping, all mops inevitably still pick up dog hair. Most mops lose the dog hair when I rinse out the sponge in the mop bucket, or when I rinse it out in the sink between floors.Read more ›

This mop cleans the textured linoleum in my kitchen better than anything else I've ever used! It gets all the dirt out of the ridges that can be left behind with other mops. When I use it, I know my floor will truly be CLEAN.

This mop does NOT clean any better then any other sponge mop on my vinyl kitchen floors - and after only 3 uses, the sponge is falling apart. Bits and pieces are breaking off. I will use it once or twice more and then just throw the whole thing away as by then the sponge part will have disintegrated. Not worth buying refills for this one.

It worked while it lasted-which was 3 months. The handle part that you grab to power squeeze the mop broke off. Was disappointed. Would not purchase this mop again.

I noticed a big difference in the cleaning only problem I don't think it last as long as other things I have used that is the bad part and refills also a bit pricey, but one thing I noticed thought my floors were clean till I used this mop with Mr. Clean.
I would recommend it to friends and always mention go to Amazon before buying any thing. good service came on time. directions tell you not to use on the look like hardwood flooring the problem there makes it to wet as I had to check it out.
