This is one of my favorite new garden products. This contains a strain of beneficial bacteria - Bacilus subtilis QST 713. This bacteria strain is naturally present in healthy soil, harmless to humans and animals, and competes against a broad range of plant disease fungi. Bacilus subtilis has several modes of action. The spray covers the leaf surface and prevent fungal spores from penetrating and infecting the plant. The bacteria produces a number of natural anti-fungal compounds that kill existing infections above and below ground. Think of this as analogous to the beneficial bacterial in the human digestive system that you can get from yogurt and probiotics. Bacteria are powerful when we strap on the saddle and ride them like horses! Search the web for "QST 713" for more interesting info.

This is very convenient but it is very hard to reduce the spray for very small vegetable plants. The droplets are large and the volume is high even with the water flow rate reduced. Also very expensive compared to mixing you oun with a hand held sprayer.

There may be other fungicides that work just as well, but it is easiest for me to use a hose-end sprayer to get to the plants I need to treat and the Natria sprayer actually works with my water pressure, which isn't terribly strong. I made the mistake of buying another brand at the end of last season and after using it for a couple of applications, I realized that the sprayer wasn't sucking the stuff out of the bottle well and I was hardly getting any treatment on the plants. I subsequently got fungal disease on several plants that had stayed healthy all season with the Natria. In short, for me the applicator is just as important as what is inside.

I’ve used this product several times over the years to keep my trees healthy. It was recommended by my county extension agent after one of my oaks came down with a fungus. Basically, if you have any tree fungus this product will help to treat it.

I saw some other reviewers mentioning that it is hard to open/close the water flow. What I’ve found through buying multiples of these over the past couple years is that it is hit and miss. My most recent one turns easily with little resistance, however I have experienced the stubborn sprayers before. This stuff definitely has an odor to it, so be prepared to change clothes and shower immediately after use, and to make sure you have no pets or children in the area at the time of application.

You may to repeat the application to control more stubborn infestations.

Overall I am very pleased with this product and recommend it without hesitation.

Works well, it just takes forever to get the job done. You have to repeat the application week after week after week to finally control the black leaf.
After I use this up, I am going back to Neem oil. Works much faster.

As another reviewer said, the nozzle is very hard to twist...to open up the water to flow through this container. I had to use pliers to open the twist thing. After 4 days the mold on my tree is still there. I will update this review if/when I see that the mold is gone. At this point in time, I don't recommend this product

I bought this product after reading several reviews from different sites. I found that the application system broke in several review, but I decided to roll the dice. I applied the product to my lawn once, then was applying a second 7 days later as it said to do when the applicator blew apart. It was unrepairable. I called Bayer to see if they could tell me the mix ration so I could apply with a spray applicator. They refused to tell me the mix ratio, did not offer any solutions other than buying another bottle and try not to break it. Thanks Bayer wasted $18.
