    I had been in the market for a new tote bag, and because I abhor color, I knew I wanted it to be black. I was seriously considering the all-black Longchamp Le Pliage, with the black leather details and the black nylon bag, and actually walked into a neighborhood shop to pick it up but it was out of stock. So I went home to order it online when I got an email that I recieved a $50 Amazon gift certificate from my brother for my birthday. So I thought, "I'll check Amazon for the Le Pliage!" And instead, I found this bag!

    It has thin straps, which creates the look I wanted, but they're extremely durable. It's ABSOLUTELY the most perfect size tote, and it's not too bulky for everyday use. In the mornings, I pack it full of my lunch for the day, my gym clothes, and a book, and in the evenings, after I've eaten my lunch, taken my gym clothes to the launderer, and I'm reading my book on the train ride home, I can actually fold up the empty LeSportsac bag and it fits in the bottom of my handbag, which is about 16 inches wide, 4 inches deep and 8 inches tall.

    I'm a very happy camper with this bag and recommend it 100%! Who would have ever thought that LeSportsac could make such a grown up and lovely basic black bag!

    Love all my Lesportsac bags b/c they are lightweight, durable & washable (I wash them in a laundry net in the washer & then hang-dry). I think this every girl tote is the most stylish of all Lesportsac tote designs, also love that the bottom panel is lightly padded which not only offers some protection for the contents but also gives the bottom some structure. it's the perfect size for an everyday tote, doesn't look big but is very spacious, it fits my insulated lunch bag, a 32 oz water bottle, an umbrella, a light sweater, & much more.

    THE BEST TOTE!!!! Perfect size. Holds a LOT, but it not one of those oversized totes that looks like a suitcase. Love the shine. Very nice to have zipper across the top for security when traveling! Front outside compartment is large and also zips closed. Perfect length handles for over the shoulder. Very lightweight. And a great price to boot!!!! Don't think twice; buy this bag!

    This tote bag is a wonderful conversation starter! Never mind that was not its intention, so many people stop and ask me about it that I've thought about getting this design in a different bag.
    I really like the smaller tote bag size. I have larger LeSportsac totes but this is the perfect size when you need something larger than a handbag yet do not want to carry around a bag that could double as luggage. The design is cute and the zippered compartments mean I'm not dropping pens or small electronic devices out of it when I set it down. LeSportsac remains one of my favorite vendors of all time.

    The evergirl tote was fine except that it was not large enough for my needs-- I was looking for an airplane carryon bag that could hold a laptop, purse, water bottle, book/magazine, etc. This probably could not have even fit a large laptop. Luckily returning on Amazon was super easy and I exchanged for the "deluxe" everygirl tote which arrived yesterday-- it is perfect! If you need a smaller tote (slightly larger than your average purse), the plain everygirl would be fine. But if you want a carryon, upgrade to the deluxe!

    This is an excellent bag. I use it everyday as my handbag - it fits everything but not too big. I also use it when traveling. It is virtually weightless and holds a tonne of stuff - this is because of it's zip design at the top - allows for an extra couple of inches to fit your stuff. I also really like the outside pocket which is perfect for my phone, keys and pens etc. I was worried about purchasing a handbag online but I can honestly say that I didn't make a mistake with this purchase. In fact, I think that I will purchase more in the future, in different patterns. This is the perfect handbag design in my opinion. This is a top quality product.

    I have been in love with LeSportsac bags for 30 years ever since I discovered them in the outlet malls of north and south Carolina. Now a resident of the Seattle area they are perfect for our misty weather since they are somewhat water proof. This bag gets 4 stars instead of because it is a bit bigger that I really wanted. I was looking for something to use to put my iPad in when I take it with but did not want to use it instead of a purse. I love the color pattern
