Lightweight for the money, but better than nothing. It feels like pot metal and could easily be broken with a couple of hammers. Not much of a barrier to real thieves after an expensive 5th wheel; would only take 10 minutes to break it and hook up a rig. There are better units out there for less money.

I read some reviews on this product before purchasing and decided to go ahead and purchase it anyways because it really isn't that expensive of an item and I knew I could return it if it wasn't up to par. It seems a lot of the reviews tend to be a little outdated for the item I received. The ad did not claim to have flashlights or a certain number of keys as others have stated so that all seems to be cleared up.

I received the lock and two sets of barrel keys to match. I tried them immediately BEFORE applying the lock to my hitch. Both worked fine and the lock itself fit perfect. For this price it fits the bill. If someone is going to steal your fifth wheel they're gonna find a way but this just makes me feel a tad better about leaving it. It could be improved on a little bit but I definitely dont expect a stainless steel lock for this price. Overall happy with my purchase of piece of mind.

It works great, I can even use it with my tripod stabilizer. But I do think it would be more secure if it had the same type if lock cylinder as they use on vending machines.

I purchased this lock and the ad clearly stated, as well as the packaging that there should be 3 keys and one with a mini flashlight. There were 3 keys, but no light. I called the company and they said it was, "A typo". I'm pretty sure a typo isn't an entire sentence. The plating is already chipping off the keys and they don't slide easily into the lock. The company is out of Colorado, but the lock is made in China. Based on this purchase, I don't intend to buy anything else lock related from Wyers/Trimax.
