I am an electrical contractor, and have used many Delta products in the past. I wanted to replace my leaking American Standard kitchen faucet with a Delta, as I have really liked their products in the past.

Amazon was great, shipping it right out. But what I found in the box was a huge disappointment. Delta has gone to ALL PLASTIC on these faucets.

No where in any of the on line literature is this mentioned. The quality of the construction is not what I was used to seeing from Delta. It has a 3rd world feel to it, and should cost no more than $19.95 delivered. Cheap travel trailer faucets are built better than this product.

Even the mixer valve (the heart of the faucet) is plastic! Not only is it plastic, it is polybutelene, the material that was recalled due to leaks in the 1980s.

I should have returned it, but decided the shipping cost would be throwing good money after bad, and I would still have my old leaking faucet.

After installing this cheap product and putting all the tools up, I sat down for a bit, only to hear that familiar "drip...drip...drip" once again. Yup, this latest wonder product from Delta leaked, and it leaks worse than the 10 year old American Standard faucet it was supposed to replace.

I won't be buying any more Delta products, and will caution my family and customers to do the same.

Purchased in Dec. of '12, installs pretty easily with quick connectors, I had to go to hardware store for a few fittings to make it compatible with my existing plumbing. No biggie. Worked fine until now (Sept. '13), drips under the sink from up inside the faucet where all the lines go into it. Really should last more than 10 months, don't you think? Agree with other reviewer, seems cheaply made. They are sending me out a new one, no questions asked, but what a hassle. You can do better, wish I'd spent a little more. We'll see how long the new one lasts.

I understand people are upset about lack of "metal" parts but this is 2014, the era of cheap products. If you are looking for something with all metal parts, you have to pay more that $75 (sad to say). If anyone knows of a better faucet with all metal parts for this price or less, please let me know because I would love to buy it! I have given up trying to get quality items for decent prices anymore. It seems that alot of companies just dont have the QC that our fathers and grandfathers (also our mothers and grandmothers :-)) companies used to have. Those companies are few and far between today. I will say that this faucet could be a little cheaper. Maybe in the $60-$70 range. But it does have a very good warranty but you know what Chris Farley says about warranties ;-)

With that said, I am VERY pleased with this faucet initially. It is much better than my old faucet, has way more metal parts and the diamond lines were a breeze to work with. It also saved me from having to buy any additional lines. I did have to by a couple of adapters for my 1/2 shut off valves but that cost less than $6 and installation went smooth. After the installation there are NO LEAKS (for now).

This faucet looks good, feels good and the sealed integrated lines with the sprayer comes in very handy.

The flow of the water is not as strong as I would like but I think that is because it has a water saving feature?

The throw back and forth between hot and cold is very short but I like that.

The faucet is very solid and comes with a lifetime warranty but hopefully I dont have to use it.

I will continue to look for leaks and monitor the performance of this faucet and come back with updates when things go wrong.Read more ›

I don't care for this faucet. The mixing range is too narrow so it's difficult to get anything except cold or very hot water. And sometimes pulling the lever down to turn it off leaves it trickling unless I center the handle carefully. The spout does seem to have a narrow flow tube so temperature changes are quicker than other faucets.
