Bought this for some old fashioned home arts and crafts for two 6 year olds. It is a good thing that they learned how to do knots and braiding at school because that was way over old dad's skill set. Instructions are simple but big hands and little strings are not compatible. For young kids, it is not a problem.

You get five different colored strings that you can mix and match however you would like. Pricey given what you pay actually. Inexpensive for a few hours of focused time for kids.

My daughter received this for a Christmas gift and when we opened it there were empty bags labeled with contents that were not included by the manufacturer. Bummer!

Instructions to do the knots are very poor. Pretty much impossible to understand.
