First off, I want to be clear that we found this product to be well worth the money, if only for the job it did when cleaning tubs and sinks. Soap scum and even rust spots? Gone! And I had labored, in vain, before getting the pads, to try and get rid of those rust stains. Even tried and true rust removers did not vanquish those particular stains.

DO be sure to test any surfaces on a small area before using the magic eraser. Shiny surfaces could be adversely affected. Our tub was just fine, though.

Now for the downside...the erasers did not get rid of scum on our shower doors. I had to go back to using vinegar and that does a fine job. If the erasers HAD worked, it would have cut my cleaning time in half. We already use a squeegee after bathing or showering so I think cleaning time is already cut from the water deposits the squeegee removes. Even so, I am always looking for ways to cut cleaning time.

Bottom line? Great to use for quick cleaning of sinks and tubs but not...in our experience...on shower doors.

I had purchased this product a while ago and it somehow got pushed to the back of my cleaning cupboard. Found it tonight and it was perfect timing as company will arrive soon & I didn't have time to do a thorough scrubbing of the washroom. This product is awesome! You can literally feel the dirt coming off your tub as you clean (it was sticky in some areas, for lack of a better word, but then the sponge slid over the tub easily so I knew the gunk was gone). One sponge was sufficient to do my tub, shower surround, sink, sink counter & a quick once over of the exterior of the toilet. Will definitely repurchase! I wouldn't rely on this for a 100% germ free cleaning of our bathroom on a weekly basis, but it sure got the bathroom sparkling clean really fast!

This worked great for me. The previous owners of my place had a mat with little air bubbles on it, the kind that cushions the feet in the shower. Anyway, that basically left a really bad hard water stain where water collected under the mat and around the bubbles... the pattern was unmistakable. I was skeptical at first as I had tried numerous other products over the last year or so... CLR, Clorox with Bleach, Lysol with Bleach, Scrubbing Bubbles, Kaboom and none of these products worked at all, so I almost didn't buy this at first.

Anyway, I did have to scrub somewhat, but to my surprise it worked. About 90% of the original stain is gone and probably another scrubbing will take care of the rest... No harsh fumes either, unlike Kaboom, where I had to air out the BT for 20 mins after and it didn't even work... Thought I was going to pass out from the fumes while using Kaboom.

Only a couple of negatives I have about the Magic Eraser though... First, I thought it was kind of expensive, about 6$ for two pads, but IMO, worth it to have a clean tub :) Second, durability, the pad crumbled and was unusable after about 5 mins... It would have been nice to last 10 - 15 mins and maybe I would have finished the job and wouldn't have to spend another 6$. Would defiantly recommend this product to my friends though, but would not recommend this for everyday cleaning...

BTW: I do like Scrubbing Bubbles, Clorox and Lysol for regular bathroom cleaning (Scrubbing Bubbles being #1) and these products do work for normal shower cleaning jobs, but this job was an entirely different beast...

I love these! I have used the regular Magic Erasers before and always liked them. These Bath Erasers are incredible! Makes cleaning the shower extremely easy! Just wipe and rinse. No more soap scum! And leaves the shower smelling great! I highly recommend them!

Liked the size, fits the hand better for holding onto it. Used in shower for water/soap stains on doors and it did not clean them up. I had used the kitchen/household ones and loved them. Maybe my stains are worse than other peoples?

These Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Bath Scrubbers are nothing short of amazing! We have had serious soap scum on our shower floor and glass door that had resisted every other product we tried, but literally just wiped away with these. Here are my observations:

* Cuts Through Scum; seriously worked well
* Gentle; not harsh on the hands
* Pleasant Smelling; has "Febreze" scent, which is very nice
* Long Lasting; one sponge was enough to do the whole bathroom

It is interesting that other reviewers report that their sponges ripped easily but we did not experience that and found that they held up well through the end of the cleaning job.

These were a great find and we will be buying more since they work so well!

Highly Recommended!

I like to consider myself as someone who is not easily impressed, particularly by cleaning products. That's right, I said cleaning products. I mean, at their core, deep down, all cleaning products are some variation on soap and bleach, right? Maybe with some pure alcohol and ammonia thrown in (see Windex). There's only so many ways you can mix those four things together. And when new cleaning products come out, you think "eh, whatever". Something new to spray on whatever it is, let it sit for a minute, and then wipe off, only to rediscover that, like most things in life, it is never that simple, and if you really want results you gotta put in some elbow grease. I got some new fancy anti-mildew stuff from Tilex, for example, and that's exactly what it is. That, and enough warnings about getting near anything made of plastic (e.g. my shower and just about anywhere else in my bathroom that grows mildew on a regular basis) that it makes you wonder just what planet they plan on cleaning. But then I decided to give Mr. Clean's new Magic Eraser a try. What the heck, surprise me. And darn if that isn't exactly what happened.

The bottom of my shower is textured so that I don't slip, and over the last few years has built up a grey shadow of who-knows-what that has collected and is resistant to just about everything. I've tried Scrubbing Bubbles, I've tried bleach, I've tried dish detergent, I've tried just about every fancy chemical under my sink laboriously rubbed in with a healthy dose of elbow grease to no avail. And then, I gently rubbed it with the Magic Eraser and BAM. White floor. Seriously. Next, I tried the shower door. The thing was covered in a white film that LimeAway and CLR kinda shudder at, and that even a razor blade doesn't seem to help with. BAM. Crystal clear.
