Overall, this set is good quality and not as stiff and scratchy as some other low-priced character sets we've had previously. Our 3 year old loves the set, too!

The quilt and pillowcase are the only pieces with Thomas' image. The sheets simply have various sayings spelled out on them. Therefore, if you don't use the comforter, there's not much to look at.

The pillowcase seems a bit big, and the comforter is more of a quilted blanket. This means that while nice quality, it is fairly thin. In fact, I was surprised how small the package was when we received it. We kept his old comforter on the bed in addition to this one to make sure he's warm enough in the winter. It will be nice for summer by itself, though, and won't be as heavy and hot as a standard comforter.

It washes well and is holding up very well after several months - no fading, loose stitching, etc. If you like the design, go for it.

I purchased this blanket set to go with the Thomas the Train bed my son has. The colors are very nice. Not too bright and not dull. It's still eye catching for kids. My son seems to love it. The sheets fit well on the toddler matress. Not too tight like some sheets are and not loose enough to slide off. Very nice fit. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes Thomas the Train.

Well I agree with everyone else on there being no fading, the colors are not to bright but not to dull. The bedding fits on the mattress perfectly. I was also suprised with how small the package was that it came in. If you live anywhere cold you are going to have to buy another comforter to go with this. The conforter that came with it was really thin. The pillow case did seem big, it fits a queen size pillow prefectly, which I don't know is entiring needed for a toddler. Considering how much I paid I was a little disappointed. I was expecting a thicker comforter for the price. If I was living back in Arizona though it would be perfect.

Our 2 year old picked out these sheets for his first toddler bed! He loves them! The top sheet is a little rough, but I'm hoping it will soften up with a few washes. It's not bad enough to seem to be uncomfortable though. Our set is slightly different than the set pictured, the comforter in the picture seems to be more like a quilt and I know some reviews said it was thin. Ours is very thick and fluffy, much like a regular comforter.

This is not 100% cotton as advertised. Some pieces are 100% polyester and others are a cotton/polyester mix. The sheets are not soft.

The comforter is cute, but it looks like it is sewn crooked. It's not even rectangle shaped. In the picture they have it folded down on a diagonal...could they have possibly made it that way on purpose? I think it's defective, but i can't return it now that my son has seen it. Also, The sheets do not have any pictures of Thomas on them, only on the pillow case. As another reviewer stated, there is wording all over them, and most toddlers cannot read. I tried to take the comforter off for the summer but my son had a fit because to him, it was not his "choo choo bed" anymore without it. I've washed the set a few times and haven't had any issues with fading or shrinkage. I thought the price was very reasonable. Overall, my son loves it, so I guess if he's happy, I'm happy.

My son likes Thomas the Train so he loves his new set. The quilt will never be his "go to" blanket though because it isn't soft and neither are the sheets or the pillow case. I would guess the material is a cheaper kind of cotton for all. The fitted sheet only has elastic at the corners instead of all around so I don't bet it will hold up over a long time but it is a toddler set of sheets that I don't expect to use more than a year or two. Thw quilt is thin as seems to be typical for these type of sets but it works for us in a warm climate, especially since my son also has another softer blanket he uses with it.

Just received the set and while the website says 100 % cotton fabric, IT IS NOT!!!!! the packaging itself says 60% cotton 40% poly. VERY upset as I spent almost $8.00 on shipping something that is not as advertised AT ALL!!. and other reviews are correct, whole package is very thin. I was hoping to get a nice blanket for my sons bed but we would have to use multiple blankets to keep him warm. SAVE YOUR MONEY!
