This harness and leash set is very cute and well-constructed, and comes at a very good price for the quality and the fact that you get both the harness and the leash. It has the H-style back design which is much much better and safer than the "infinity" or "X-shaped" back design. The color and pattern are true to the photo. Both are made of a tightly-woven canvas material that has held up to some rather vigorous clawing and chewing. The tightening/loosening mechanism is visible in the product photo: it's pretty standard (basically like the tightening/loosening mechanism on backpack straps, except the dangly ends are attached to their respective neck/waist collars). The two collars open and close with standard snap-buckle mechanisms (like the straps inside suitcases) that seem pretty strong because they've stayed closed through intense pulling and yanking. The cross-bar is double-thick which I guess is good, but also makes it slightly heavier than the rest of the harness, so if you haven't got the harness tight enough (shouldn't be able to slip more than 1 finger between it and the cat) it tends to fall over to one side and then the cat can yank on it and chew on the bell, etc. The bell seems to be a standard bell, decently audible but not too loud, withstood some chewing. The little D-shaped ring the bell is attached to is a little bit longer than most D-rings (looking at it like this --> D <-- it is wider, not taller) so it's easier to get the leash on when she's trying to get away from you. The leash attaches with a standard lever-clip (also visible in the product photo; like the closure mechanisms on most necklaces but bigger). The end you hold has a canvas loop on it that, when spread out into a circle, has about a 12-inch circumference and a 4-inch diameter.Read more ›

We had an absolutely horrible experience at the airport when our cat freaked out going through security (thank you, TSA, for deciding that the best way to screen cats was to take them out of their carriers in the middle of a crowded and overwhelming airport). If we had not had this harness on her, she would have been lost to us. She managed to claw her way out of my arms, ran to the end of the leash, which I had luckily wrapped around my wrist, and then the harness stopped her. I was able to reel her back in and hold on to her until we got her carrier back, but at the personal cost of some serious bites and scratches on my hands and arms from my panicked kitty.
I was paranoid about her backing out of her harness, but we had tightened it enough that she didn't get out in the few seconds before I got her again. I would not be the one to test out if the harness could have held her, rather than me, until we got the carrier, but it did its job during that quick test.

The catit leash & harness is nice and well made. The print is pretty and it fit well. My kitten didn't seem to like it, but I don't think most cats would. I think it's a good fit and will adjust easily as my kitten gets bigger. She did try walking with it on. She will just have to get familiar with it. I'm pleased.

I love the design of this harness and leash, but unfortunately the proportions are funky for my cat. It's too tight around the waist at it's biggest size and too loose around the neck at it's tightest size. My cat is the standard size and proportion for a cat. I'll probably end up modifying the sizes myself somehow, but I'm disappointed that it wasn't what I was expected.

EDIT: Changed my three stars to five stars. Turns out it's not disproportionate like I thought. I was trying to put the neck strap around her waist, which, obviously, since it wasn't meant to be around the waist, it was too small, and the waist strap around her back, which the waist strap was too big to be around her neck. After realizing my idiotic mistake, I put the harness on like it's suppose to go and it fits her perfectly now.

We purchased this harness for my daughter's rabbit. It works great! We are very pleased with the quality, design, and the adjustable straps. The leash is a bit short (only 4 feet), but works fine for her.

I have a kitty that is overweight and I wanted a way to walk him. Kitty collars are not good, because they are made to break away . I purchased a dog harness to get the size to fit his middle, but the neck was too large, so he was able to slip out. The style is perfect! The neck sizes to fit his neck securely, while the body collar snugly fits his chest. We are still learning to leash walk, but this is a great product! Plus, this item was shipped quickly.

I actually ordered this to use for my bunny. I use to have an adjustable kitten harness that worked wonderfully, but she grew out of it. I have only used this twice and so far it is working pretty great. She slipped out of the neck piece the first time and I love that you can adjust both parts separately so it was easily fixed. Nice product and reasonable price.
