This carrier is made of a much thinner plastic not the hard plastic I am use to seeing carriers made of.
I am also use to there being several clips all around to secure the halves together.
This only has a couple little clips and one big clamp on each side but they are not strong clamps and one opened when i picked up the carrier empty!
When I put my 7 pound cat in it and picked up the handle and it felt as if the clip was going to give way.
I didn't feel she would be safe in this at all.
This might be good for a small rabbit, a ferret or guinea pig.

I ordered this when the price dropped to just under $30. I think it's worth about $15. It is so cheaply made. I hope that when I do go to use it for my cat, that it doesn't fall apart! It seems to snap tightly. I know if I was viewing this in the store, I wouldn't have bought it for any price. It looks sturdy in the picture, but it really isn't.

This carrier is just the right size for my two cats (one is 11 pounds and one is 6 pounds, who will grow into it). I will say, this carrier seems a lot lighter than the other carriers I have. The plastic is lighter, but it doesn't feel like it will fall apart. It snaps together really snuggly, and I don't have any worries. But, if you are used to the very thick and heavy plastic, this may seem very light to you, but I don't think safety is an issue with this at all despite the lighter plastic used. What I really like about this is the size. I had a hard time finding a carrier at a good price that wasn't too small or wasn't too big. This is just the right size for my large 11 point cat. She is very long and lean, and this gives he enough height to move around in it, but it is also a more "confined" space to make her think she is safe (my other carrier is too large, and she gets overwhelmed because she has too much room in it). The only thing I don't like about this carrier is the door. This carrier is very easy to disassemble, but when you put it back together, the door is very tough to get attached. I made sure I read the directions to attach it so that I wouldn't break it. You have to lift the corner up and slide the door hinge in to attach it, which is not very user friendly, especially when you are at the vet and the vet might not know how to attach the door if they took the carrier apart. Also, I'm not a big fan of how the door closes either. Safety isn't a concern with the door, but rather it is very firm and stiff to open. Maybe with use this will get easier, but, compared to my other carrier, I thought the door opening/closing mechanism was a lot better on my other carrier. Overall though, good value for this carrier.

I was carrying my 4 pound puppy and the handle popped right off, crashing her to the ground! She was fine, but I am LIVID! Intend on writing the company, please protect your pets and DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

I have a small "porkie" and just needed a crate for her to sleep in at night. The plastic isn't heavy duty but it works fine for my needs. I don't carry her around in it but I think it would hold up just fine for a small dog. And I must add I love the pink :)

This carrier is very stylish love the two compartments on the top you can open to reach your pet and one with a tray you can hook on the door for food and water. I also love the sides of the carrier because your pet can easly look threw it like most carriers.

I bought this pretty pink and white carrier for my cat. The carrier is roomy and has lots of vents for good air flow. Standard pet bedding, that is available at most pet stores, will fit in this carrier. The top and bottom can be held together by the two gray clamps that are supplied but there are also holes around the edge of the carrier where you can use screws to hold it together. I am very happy with this pet carrier.

Returned the crated--the crate was made cheaply. you could drop the puppy if it moved in the crated. Cheap, cheap, cheap.
Would not recommand to my friends.
