I returned this immediately because it looked so cheap. It was cheap, and it looked it. It was not shiny chrome as described in the details. The wire was so flimsy, that I would describe it as one, or two grades, stronger than chicken wire. I could bend it with my hands if I had wanted to do so, and I don't have a lot of strength in my hands. I am looking for something like this, but with some substance to it, and a true chrome look to it.

We were using a ceramic bowl for fruit. Not a big deal. But I did notice that the fruit was kind of hard on one side and softer on the other. It was like it wasn't ripening in an even manner. We only had the one big bowl and I realized I needed at least another. Originally I thought I'd get another ceramic one but this option was very attractive and affordable. Turns out to be a great purchase. It holds a tremendous amount of fruit - a bunch of bananas, nearly a dozen apples and pears and some citrus. Plus the open design means I can both see everything (reminding the family to eat this stuff) and air circulates better. No more mushy spots.

I really like the look of this bowl. It was purchased for a house-warming and I think it's nice, but could be a little sturdier. The metal is a little thin. I'm concerned that the product won't be sturdy enough for long term use.

I was so excited to see the price come down to $14.50, so I bought it, and then the price shot up to $26.87 the very next day.

However, when it arrived I was extremely disappointed, I would not buy this in a store for even $5. It is not shiny chrome as in the description and the picture, instead it sort of looks like those plastic coated paper clips... the flower design is not properly fused together, almost like someone took wire cutters and snipped it all over. It really is hideous, I honestly don't know how it got a single good review. It is low quality, made in China garbage that looks horrendous on my lovely granite counter tops. This will have to be returned, I feel so ripped off...
