These switch plates are extraordinary! Heavy, durable, stylish--well worth the price, and without a doubt a sound investment, whether you're buying them for personal use or just trying to spruce up a place before selling. Their color works best in the presence of natural wood (regardless of stain hue), but they also work well with straight white or any earth tones.

Nice quality, heavy duty metal (not flimsy like some other ones I've bought). Nice design. My only disappointment is that they are more "copper" in color than pictured here. Here, as pictured, the color looks more like bronze. However, they are definitely more like sponged copper (as the name implies). I'm considering "sponging" them darker. Might be a nice art project for my kids!

The details of french lace was colored as the rest of the product. It may look lighter in the picture, but mine was just one color. I went to Lowes and saw ones that looked like the picture. My advice, pay an extra $2 and go to Lowes.

its a beautiful accent to my room. however the screws that came with this did not fit in the portal and the item its self was not stable making the item itself not stable. it was not secure because of the screws not fitting properly

I am so glad there were a number of switchplates of this design.
It is affordable, and I bought this style for all the single switch outlets. I also got the complementary switchplates for the plug outlets.
Seems very well made, and looks gorgeous. Has not tarnished at all (yet).
I'm in the process of replacing all my outlet covers with this design.

I have a ceramic switch plate that I made 30 yrs ago. in my new house I needed another switch plate. this was the closest to the one I made colorwiise. I wouldn't buy this if I were just looking for a wall switch
