Got these after trying out a set of Type R strobes. Came promptly with all required components and necessary parts, and checked out using a power supply. One recommendation that I have after installing the first set is to make sure that the hole saw you use is a new sharp bit makes the drilling much easier. Mine are installed on a 2000 Ford Ranger extended cab. I only had to extend one wire the rest ran fine to under the drivers seat. The strobe controller wiring was run under the carpet to the dash and removed from the original housing to be added to an existing external light controller. The strobes are in the turn signals on the front and reverse lamps on the rear. They are plenty bright for night use and draw plenty of attention even with the normal running lights on. Even during the day they can be seen, but the front is not as bright due to the orange colored lenses on the turn signals. The built in patterns are good. Additionally the strobe sockets themselves are rubber and seal to the 1 inch hole very well with no wiggle room. When I mounted the front set it did take some time to figure out where to mount the strobes so they would not be showing or overly exposed to weather. Overall install time on this kit was 4 hours, which included going out to buy the hole saw, and modifying the strobe controls to work with my existing system. For a basic install I would estimate it can be done in 2 or 3 hours in a drive way on a normal vehicle using a set of jack stands if you need the extra room to get under the vehicle. I do wish I had gone with the 6 lamp set to put the other two bulbs in the cargo lights. Had them now a few weeks still working well, would recommend these to anyone.

its a good system the strobes fit great in the running lights in my truck but to reach the back i had to extend the wires about 4ft to reach the back of my truck. so far a good product.

Installed these in my F-150, front ones went in the side markers perfectly, flush mounted with lots of clearance, rear ones went right into the backup light holes. Very bright and definitely a good investment. Lights up the world at night, and still visible during the day. Very happy.

EXCELLENT ..Super Brite...very good install instruction manual...Just a heads up your gonna have to EXTEND the wires for most cars/trucks bigger than a Honda Civic..Also..you mite want a Stereo Shop or Someone who has done this ..you have to drill into a very EXPENSIVE factory lite house'n ...if you did it wrong..???...Ugh ..were talking Melt Down..These Bulbs generate HEAT ...so just giving everyone a Head Up..

Bought for my 09' extended cab silverado. As stated by others the wires could and should be a little longer. I was able to run the back lights into the reverse light sockets and put the controller under the back seat and had to just drill 2 small holes for the wires in the floor. Ran the control wire under the carpet and put the on off switch behind the gear selector(only place I could put it with the wires being so short) Front lights will stay uninstalled for now as there is no real good place to install them without blocking the stock headlights

Awesome Hide-away strobe lights. I have managed to install only two of them but they are working fine till now. Also note that the cable length is fine for a car but may be not for trucks. Also I read a lot of reviews saying they got generic strobe lights but not the Wolo ones so be careful of the seller selling the item.

Wow I finally needed to use them
And the rear right strobe don't work all the time
It flashes every 2-3 min not in sync with the left rear. I opened the lens that it's in an seems the wire has a short in it inside the bulb unit. I've tried different patterns too just to be sure with no luck. I'll have my electrician friend take a look at it.
