It'll put on your Oetiker clamps just fine and it's made pretty well. Pretty durable and it's the cheapest one on Amazon right now so you can't beat that.

However, I do have one big complaint with this item. It can be EXTREMELY hard to remove some small Oetiker clamps with it. The ends of this tool are so thick that it's nearly impossible to get under the flap to remove them. I assume that with bigger clamps you wouldn't have this problem, but I was working with 15mm-10mm clamps. I ended up having to stick a screw driver under the clamps to pry it up a little first. Other than that, no complaints.

For small hose clamps or tight fittings, nothing beats Oetiker clamps. They may not be re-usable but clamp more efficiently than similar hose clamps on small diameter fittings (like carburetors and small plumbing.). Not for everyone, but well worth it if you maintain cars, motorcycles or small engines requiring secure fittings and small diameter fuel lines.

Not much to review on the Oetiker standard pincer jaw clamp installation tool. The handles are plenty long enough to provide plenty of squeeze and the tool is sturdy. I purchased it to repair a light weight hose (3/8 od.) that was manufactured using the Oetiker two ear clamp and the hose repair was easy as 1,2 3 making me wish I had ordered the tool sooner. Shipping from the supplier ReStockIt was prompt.
