This was my first wireless mouse as i was hesitant to get one because i hate wireless things as the reliability is good usually. However this thins surprised me as it plugged right in and worked with no issues the whole time i had it. Then one day it just stopped working, Until then it was great. it was very comfortable and has back and forward buttons which i love and will not get a mouse without. It used two aaa batteries. It looked good but probably could look better. Ovaerall it was very good while it lasted so i figure 3 stars is good. I probably got a dud, and likely you will have a better experience. Fortunatley amazon took it back as it was still in the return window.

It's OK, but you may do better.

I have another Kingston mouse and thought this one would be a good tool to use due to its shape (the other is more for travel). At first the mouse worked well, but soon I noticed that the cursor 'jumped' for no apparent reason. Also, it is very slow to connect to my laptop. Sometimes it is necessary to unplug the USB and re-insert it to make a connection. My other Kingston is a bluetooth device with no connectivity problms or 'dancing cursors'.

The Wireless Mid-Size is OK, but you may want to check out other, more stable devices.

i've had one fo over a year . it also had some of the same problems mentioned in other reviews disconection problems. other than
that i was very satisfied. until a week ago the transmitter up and died. now i have to replace it.

It was nice while it worked

I ordered this 9/12 and 11/8 it just stopped picking up the signal and didn't work. In the middle of a busy work day too. Now, I have to go buy another one, drive to the post office to send this back and pay to ship it back because my "window of time to return" expired on 10/15? Save yourself the trouble, don't buy. I mailed this mouse back on 11/8/12 (at my own expense) and requested a credit from Amazon. It's now 2/2/13. You would think I would at least get a response 3 months later. Update 4/16/14 - still no credit or response.

Doesn't stay connected

Mouse wheel? Check. Good number of buttons? Check. Comfortable in hand. Check. This would be a great mouse, and is a great mouse - when it actually stays connected to the computer. It works on about a 4 to 5 min basis then I have to unplug it and replug it back in. Also it doesn't turn off automatically or when i pull the USB stick out so it just stays on and the batteries die really quickly. Mouse looks good from the picture, horrible in practice. D- would not buy again.

Severely disapointed!

I purchased the K72370 specifically because I was happy with the K64390 wireless mouse that came with my kensington wireless keyboard desk set. The only problem I had with the deskset was that sometimes I would click the forward/back buttons by accident. Fortunately kensington offers software to allow you to configure the buttons on the K64390. This was a selling feature that caused me to buy the K72370 that is offered on this page.
HOWEVER, the K72370 will not function with the software for the K64390, and Kensington doesn't offer software to configure the buttons for the new mouse (K72370). Even more unfortunate is the tech support. Upon calling kensington tech support I was told that the buttons are default and can not be changed. I was then told by tech support to return the mouse!!!! That is my idea of BAD TECHNICAL SUPPORT when the company recommends a DO NOT BUY. I'm giving the mouse 2 stars because for 15 minutes it has been functional. kensington really shouldn't be removing features for a product as simple as a mouse. There IS a software layer that interprets a button press and assigns an action to that button. No reason why the end user shouldn't be able to change that function. I may well take kensington's advice and return the product.

I really like this mouse, I have the larger one that I use for my desktop and this one is perfect for my laptop since I am always taking it with me everywhere I go.
