GREAT GAME. I recently have been upset that I spend $60 on XBOX 360 football games and it is the same thing yet it has NOTHING that I loved about the game from the PLAYSTATION 2 VERSION....so I dug through my old games and found NCAA FOOTBALL 2008....loved it and decided I might as well get the NEWEST VERSION since they will no longer be making the game thanks to some cry baby spoiled college athletes.

So the game is awesome. The Defense is smarter but once you figure it out then it is game on. The graphics are the same and the game play is a little better.Sometimes the defense will make a tackle or one handed interception I have never seen before so that is an upgrade. Then the Wide-receivers will make some crazy catches. The recruiting is still the same but they have SOOOOO MANY 5 star QBs and WRs to choose from when recruiting. I swear there is at least 15 5 star QBs along with another 20 5 star WRs to recruit. I recruiter a QB who cam in at an 88 overall. I redshirted him and he was a 94 to start as a Redshirt Freshmen....crazy!

LOVE THE GAME.....people keep paying $60 for these news games when really the PLAYSTATION 2 version is the best. It has off season drills, FCS schools, NCAA sanctions, great side games, and much more. This last version of the game has everything you need.

I do not like how the game stops at 60 years for dynasty mode...It should go on forever. I guess they figured no one would play that deep but I simulated it and it stopped at 60 years.

I highly recommend this game for your football fix.

I purchased this product last year but am now writing the review.

The NCAA Football series on PS2 was my favorite series up until the 2008 version (awful pursuit angles).

I gave 2011 a chance, hoping to see an improvement from what I consider to be the best in the series, NCAA 2006 (and 2004). I found myself to be disappointed and underwhelmed with the overall quality of this game. The text/graphic overlays looked PS1 ish - instant replays appear buggy - and after popping 2004 in - the gameplay felt like a HUGE step back from that version. The gameplay felt very scripted, which is something you typically hear with the next gen version.

Overall-I'd say if your a die hard NCAA/PS2 fan and you collecting these games, then this will go nicely on the shelf while you enjoy 2006 and or 2004.

I'm a retro gamer....I have long thaught NCAA football was better than the madden series ! More teams more cheats more football period ! I strongly recommend this game over any other NCAA football game ! Graphic are HD like and look real life ! I like dynasty mode, its clutch and you can collect massive amounts of trophy's, team boosts unlocked stadiums all American teams and team mascots to use during game play ! Roady to glory is real life, starting from high school to winning the Heisman trophy ! If your like me and want to take a small program to the top of the bcs, like the UB bulls it only takes 2-3 seasons to do so ! It is achievable ! I was fortunate enough to find this incredible game at Walmart on the clearance rack for 20$ brand new ! Look around like I did and maybe you can find it cheap like I did ! Hope this review was helpful !

This came on time and was one of the only games my son really wanted. When he went to play it on his PlayStation it froze up and you could visually see scratches and problems with the disk. The disk came with a protective covering, but it was obvious it was not played prior to sending. We had to take it to a local game store and they were able to buff it out, but was disappointing since he couldn't play the game on Christmas day and cost another $5 to get it to playing correctly.

This is a great game! I haven't gotten one since 2006 but now I have either gotten a lot worse or it has gotten more challenging. Better graphics and lots of fun!

I actually love the college football than Madden ! Even though a lot of additions were not implemented because this is the last one on the PS2, I had to buy it again. I have brought three of these within the last two years. NCAA football is a collector's item. Purchase it, it's worth every cent.

Road to Glory was supposed to include high school playoffs, but not in the PlayStation 2 version. That is the only reason I got the game, because I'd already had NCAA 09, and I wanted the one thing different that NCAA 11 had to offer. I was disappointed to find out that NCAA 11 is the same exact game as NCAA 09 for the PlayStation 2.
